Escapist's 2nd (annual?) Game of SKATE & High Ollie Contest at Riverside Skatepark. There were a lot of good heats, including a few really close battles with Springfield and Wichita rippers (Michael Keck vs Chafe Bayless will go down in the history books). The finals consisted of Dillon Aguilar, Rod Harper, Weston Sparks and Ryan Pearce. Weston and RP battled it out in the finals game, with Weston claiming the victory by a letter, winning the $200 cash plus a year's supply of Gatorade. High ollie contest was going off with quite a few people making it to 36 inches. 38 inches weeded everyone out except for Bryson Pham and Dillon Aguilar, both handled it. Bryson tapped out at 38 inches (his KC record height from last year) and Dillon blasted over it on his 3rd try for new KC record and $200 cash plus a year's supply of Gatorade.
