December 17th, Stephen joined with friends and fellow performers including  Platinum Blonde, Clear, The Deserters (with Terence Gowan & Mike Danckert), Alan Frew (Glass Tiger), Danielle Todd, Patrizia, The Paris Black Band, Devlin MacLean, Streamlined, Max Brand, Larry Gowan and others to celebrate the life of Kenny Maclean.
It was an emotionally charged evening of songs, tributes and memories. Family, friends, fellow musicians and fans of Kenny's all helped to create an incredible evening. There was an overwhelming feeling of comaraderie that began early in the day during the setup and sound check and carried on throughout the evening.
In a very touching moment Kenny's brother Donald spoke very eloquently about Kenny's life. Kenny's son Devlin did a great job singing one of his dads songs and his nephews band (Streamlined) rocked the house in the Maclean tradition of showmanship. Also to be mentioned for helping to put together a touching tribute to a fallen friend are Mark Holmes, Denis Martel and Steve Anthony.
Donations can be made to a Scholarship fund in Kenny's name at Humber College School of Creative and Performing Arts or
www.giving.@humber.ca. the government will match all contributions. Thanks to your awesome support not one but two (and counting!) scholarships will be awarded every year to young students enrolling at the Humber College School of Creative and Performing Arts.

Hi there, this is my first foray into this new technology. Guess it's about time seeing as the old technology didn't seem to be cutting it (Hello...Hello...) I am brushing up on acronyms lol and hoping this will all be a good thing,  not another way for those you don't want to find you, to find you. I have always been a little apprehensive about the net, after receiving more viruses in my first few months using it, than I did touring with rock bands in the 80's. Anyway looking forward to whatever may come. Come what may. Stephen...Happy Ho Ho's....
