It’s been a little while since our last update, but I’m very pleased to announce a few things that have happened in the Atrax camp over the past few days. ....

Before I begin I’d just like to thank every who came to the Limerick gig especially those who came from afar to see us..we really enjoyed ourselves and its was fantastic to see all my old mates again......

First of “Condemned to Hatred” our debut CD will be released very soon. There we’re a few delays but we’ve finally got the Cd’s and we’ll be putting up details very soon on how and where you can purchase this fine product. ....

Also we’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be playing 2 gigs in Holland along side Slave Zero in November. This will be our first time playing abroad and we’re extremely excited to play these gigs esp with our good mates Slave Zero.....

Unfortunately i have announce the departure of Eoin Brett (Guitar) from Atrax Mantis. We're disappointed and saddened to have Eoin leave but if it's what he wants we'll fully support him.
Atrax will continue on a search for a new guitarist we wont let this set us back even though Eoin's shoes will be very difficult to fill, The recording of our first EP will continue as planned. We wish Eoin the best with any other band or anything in general.
Just so there's no rumors in Kilkenny it ended on good terms and he's still as much of a friend to us as he ever was.
We're looking for a new guitarist that is comfortable will down tuning and has a love for playing Death Metal, we want a guitarist that has total dedication to band. If you want to know what we sound like check out, we'd pefer someone who's 17/18 or over since most of the venues we'll be play will be over 18's.

Atrax Mantis - News!!

It's been a busy month for us, we played our first gig in Dublin two weeks ago it went really well and we're really happy with how things have been going lately. We uploaded the final mixed and mastered version of "The Ropes End". Special thanks to Daw (kilkennymusic.com)/(ITF) for all his hard work on the mixing the Cd for us.Our 4 track mini-EP is almost finished should be released by the SANATORUIM gig. We've been confirmed for the Befouling the gates festival in Carlow which fetures death metal legands DESECRATION headlining.
