Working on getting both Born To Pieces and Pure As Re-released

We are trying to put out a new pressing of Born To Pieces/Pure As The Blood Covered Snow, it will feature the first 5 songs of of BTP and the entire Pure As Cd. This is because BTP was way too limited of a pressing and Pure as is starting to become spendy.
Anyway, we talked with James over at Sullen and he is wanting to do this, so if everything goes as planned, it will be sweet!

Bootleg A T-Shirt Contest

We would love to see what kind of Frost Like Ashes T shirt you can come up with. The deal with this contest is that we want to see the finished product on an actual shirt. The rules are simple, you can put any design you come up with on a shirt, either thru silkscreening, airbrush, hand drawn or a site like cafepress. Then take a photo and email it too us via band@frostlikeashes.com .

We give you until june of this year to get it done, and the winner gets a Born To Pieces 7inch vinyl, Born To pieces poster, an XL Goat Skull Tshirt (if i have another size you need you can have that but i will set aside an XL for this), Tophet CD (psychoacoustix version), Possession - Scourge and Fire, Possession - Eternally Haunt (if i can find my last copy ha ha), and any other merch i can find lying around.

If you make a shirt that is awesome, and feel like pressing some to sell, you have our blessing as long as the run is two dozen or less. seriously, go ahead and spread the word Frost Like Ashes.

So our anti abortion picture is too violent for here

wow, i just posted the promo picture for our new album, which has a picture of an abortion doctor holding a bloody babies leg (you can see it on our website here) The artwork, while somewhat confrontational and brazen is by no means artwork that supports violence in any way shape or form. I was told by myspace that if i post it again i will have my account removed. There is also no place to contact them and find out why they made that decision in a split second. Seriously it is a cartoon, not a real photo, it depicts violence, but with a purpose, and quite an anti violent statement. funniest part is that there is no way i can contact them and discuss this with them, they are aloud to make a split second decision, and it seem that there may be absolutely no accountability for it.

Frost Like Ashes signs with Sullen Records

FROST LIKE ASHES Signs With SULLEN RECORDS (Subsidary of Open Grave Records) - Mar. 13, 2008

Sullen Records has announced the signing of Kansas City-based FROST LIKE ASHES for the release of the band’s new EP, titled "Born to Pieces". The follow-up to the group’s 2006 acclaimed album "Tophet" will be issued this May and will be available as a limited release, with only 250 units to be produced.

FROST LIKE ASHES is scheduled to headline the Sanctuary Tent at the Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, IL on July 3. A limited number of copies of "Born to Pieces" will be held over for attendees of this event.
