“House of Blues Rocks Country:  Featuring Madonna Nash”

Summer 2009 gets even hotter on Friday, July 31st as the House of Blues Presents Myrtle Beach Rocks Country featuring the Hottest rising star in country music, Madonna Nash.  House of Blues is more than just a live music concert venue.  It’s an institution that has garnered legends and music royalty for decades.  It has been home to some of the biggest stars in the music industry from Sheryl Crow, B.B. King, Keith Urban and Darius Rucker of Hootie & The Blow Fish to Daughtry, Taylor Swift, The Fray, and Augustana just to name a few.  Now the stage is set for the hottest rising star in country music, Madonna Nash.  Opening act performance starts at 8pm. Madonna Nash hits the stage at 9pm.

On Friday, July 31st 2009 at the House of Blues-Myrtle Beach, Madonna Nash will be the featured female performing artist of the weekend.  The air condition will keep it cool inside for a great escape from the fun in the sun at the beach.  However, the stage at the House of Blues will be scorching as Madonna Nash sets it on fire with her unmistakable voice and talented band.  The House of Blues Rocks Country Concert kicks off the hottest weekend of the summer with Brad Long, the Jeffery Allen Edwards Band and Madonna Nash.  Papa Roach will wrap up the weekend when they rock and sizzle the stage on Sunday, August 2nd.

TGIF will take on a new meaning when you hear Madonna Nash, the fastest rising female country artist in the biz.  She has performed in shows with Sugarland, Hank Williams Jr., Lynard Skynard, Phil Stacy and many other stars.  Coming off of her 2nd consecutive nomination for North Carolina Best Female Country Music Artist of the Year, Madonna Nash captivated everyone when she hit the Red Carpet at the 2008 Country Music Awards.  It was obvious from her Red Carpet appearance at the CMA’s that Madonna Nash was carving out her own place amongst the stars in country music.  She showed grace, class and elegance while taking in her new found respect from her peers and fans alike.

“I spend a lot of time talking with my fans and sharing stories of how music has helped us all cope during difficult times,” said Madonna Nash.  “My upcoming live performance at the House of Blues is dedicated to all of my fans, their families and anyone else that has been struck with some form of cancer.  By giving away some tickets to my fans, I am saying thank you to everyone that has supported me and my mother during her battle with Breast Cancer.  Anything I can do to make a difference in the lives of others including providing fans with a night of escape from their daily struggles is an honor for me.”

Madonna Nash will be giving away tickets on the radio, pre-show promotion events and through her MySpace page www.myspace.com/madonnanash.  She will also donate a portion of all her t-shirt and music sales at the July 31st event to help fight breast cancer.  You can’t beat the atmosphere, food, drinks and the great live music concerts that have been a staple at the House of Blues forever.   Madonna Nash will continue that legacy with her very own star performance and humble appreciation for those that came before her.

I never asked you for this moment,

I never planned on what's in store,

I've never felt so much emotion,

I've never felt like this before,

and I know I must be patient,

and I know this must be fate,

(Chorus)

But here you come, and there I go,

I'm falling at your feet,

I'm scared to death, I've lost my breath,

you bring me to my knee's,

and at this moment, I am helplessly,

faced to face with destiny.

I've never been kissed by an angel,

I've never had the chance to fly,

but when you touch me like this darlin',

I shure think I could try,

and you know that I'm imperfect,

and I know that you're the one,

(Chorus repeat x 2)
