We just got off our last show at the Ottobar, where we were given the priviledge of opening for Melt Banana. It was a childhood dream of Mike's, fulfilled. I'd like to thank everyone who attended for coming out and supporting the show. Thanks to you, we've been invited back to the Ottobar in the future :)
I arrived incredibly early for this show and was able to meet Melt Banana while they setup and sound checked their gear. Even through language barrier, I gathered that they were very nice. I had a chance to speak with drummer, Inomata, after our set. Yet again, much of our conversation might have been lost in translation and the club noise but he gave me the impression he enjoyed some of our set. Whether he actually did or not, I enjoyed talking and he accepted our CD. Afterwards, I though out it and realized that they will probably be playing almost every day I believe over two months of being in America. That's almost 60 shows, with probably 3-4 openers per show, meaning that Ino and Melt Banana will could probably have somewhere between 180-240 CD's by the time they return home to Japan.

At the end of the show, Sam and Dave weren't around but Mike and I stuck around take some photos.
In other news, we just found out that we've been invited to participate in the production of two video game soundtracks in the near future. We can't speculate to much on the details of these projects yet but I'll say it will be a good opportunity to unearth the murky doom infested side of Dry Seasons personality.
