Eurasia. is the project of a 20 years-old
Japanese boy who his inspired by the bucolic countryside in the city of
Wakayama. The 4 songs that make the debut of Eurasia. in MiMi grow
in-between the ambiences and the keys of a piano with classical
melodies. Akira, fictitious name behind Eurasia., is an anti-hero.
Assume the lack of theory and technique in his compositions, but, in
the end, he makes the music that he wants to hear.
"The
end of the autumn" is the song closest to what is called post-rock, is
also the composition where the piano has a greater role than ambience
layers that rise by the end of an EP that seems have in the autumn a
good ally.
The coordinates that surround the ambient and the post-rock are brought by Eurasia. on another release with the stamp of MiMi.

São Silvestre is a county in the district of Coimbra and of the Diocese of Coimbra,
with 12.26 kilometers ² and more than 3000 inhabitants, which amounts
to a population of around 252.2 km ².
It
is here that we find to be behind the project Elite Athlete: João de
Almeida. The space and the stars, a dimly lit room and light pierced
the blinds, the fog and the night of roadside reflectors are part of
the image.
His compositions roam between light and gray.
A constant dichotomy in his work, to discover in detail in another
issue with the seal of quality MiMi ...

Hidekazu belongs to a new generation of japanese musicians that still work with acoustic media.
"Seaside Opera 00" is a beautiful intimacy and delicacy, flowing
between pastoral moments, emotional, melodic passages and elements of
japanese traditional music.
A personal search impregnated with poetry.

They are back... Small, really small... no more
than 7 minutes ... but gives more than enough to demonstrate the
virtuosity, delicacy and beauty of Table Music Meeting project.
"Wild Flower Way" is a beautiful instrumentation and a vocal melody
that grabs you and announces you as good as it needed to hear. "Echo
Holiday" is a small gem of a almost 3 minutes of almost epic folki air
(this is pure magic and, we should play it in loop mode).
Chances are you haven't heard anything like it since your last
kindergarten jam session.

Boiar is a Portuguese collective exploring
experimental electro acoustic electronics. "MiMinhos" (portuguese word
for treats) are newest sound experiences from Boiar and these guys
offer us some really good music under the suggestive title. I might say this is just for real MiMi Records lovers...

Satie himself used the term "furniture music" to
refer to some of his pieces, implying they could be used as
mood-setting background music. More than one century later,
Killer-Killer pays hommage to the french composer re-interpreting 3 of
his most famous pieces. A must listen!!!

A 26 minute 5-track sampling of
experiment-tinged IDM with numerous magnetic surprises. These
compositions are made up of a mix between breaks and idm.The piano
makes the rest of the scenario.

Some people say that mermaids do not exist.
Pure lies. Izumi Suzuki (aka Linda Bjalla) is one of them and invites
us to dream and a journey of pure enchantment by cold seas of Sweden. Izumi
use her voice like a siren who naively tries to attract listeners. And
she made it. The rest of the scenario is the mastery of a piano
accompanied by sound landscapes that make us remember the seabed. The spell is short so it is recommended to listen in loop.http://www.clubotaku.org/mimi/uk/album115.phphttp://www.clubotaku.org/mimihttp://www.myspace.com/lindabjalla
