We recently received word that our remix to R. Kelly's single "Real Talk" has been receiving alot of positive reviews all over the net, despite the lack of airplay and promo for the remix ("Suits Suck!"). Surprisingly, the remix even made it on a few Best of 2007 lists. Check out the luv below:

As Baltimore Magazine celebrates its 100th birthday this year, the historical magazine also releases its annual Best of Baltimore issue today (August15th).

For the frequent readers and followers of the magazine, you know that every year the magazine holds the Best of Baltimore Awards, complete with party and ceremony held at Power Plant Live in Downtown Baltimore. This year, your boys Juan Donovan & Jamal Roberts of Darkroom Productions have been honored with the distinction of winning the 2007 Best Producer Award.

Its definitely an honor for us as we look at awards as recognition that our hard work definitely has us going in the right direction. So as usual, we thank everyone for their continued support of Darkroom.

What it do fam.  Your boys over at Darkroom Productions have just been added to the writing staff of Hip Hop's hottest magazine; OZONE.  Julia Beverly has personally handpicked Bmore's hottest & most critically acclaimed producers to write in OZONE's monthly column called Rapquest.

Rapquest covers all of the hottest talent, events, and music in a specific hotspot of the country.  We will be covering the Baltimore region.  Bmore, it's time to show the rest of the world that we got shit poppin, and that we are definitely the next city to do it big.  So all artists in the area, if you have a really big project dropping, a tour coming up, or any major move happening, be sure to hit us with the info at thedarkroominc@yahoo.com

So everyone be sure to lookout for the monthly writeups in OZONE by your boys Darkroom Productions.  And don't forget, the Annual OZONE Awards are going down this August in Miami.  We will be in the house, make sure you are there too.

The Baltimore Sun newspaper did a feature story on your boys from Darkroom.  We were actually blessed enough to make the cover of the LIVE! section, and in anticipation for the release of Hamsterdam 2, the paper's website leaked 3 songs from the album.  Check it out:

Darkroom has really been blessed this year with some incredible press.  Sometimes it seems like the journalists and writers simply won't stop calling,  and we truly appreciate it all.  The world is taking notice to us, our accomplishments, and the fact that Baltimore is next.

To be in Rolling Stone Magazine is a blessing like no other.  You are talking about the most prominent and acclaimed music magazine of all time.  So when they came calling, we knew that this movement was serious.  Thanks again to Eric and Sonja at Rolling Stone for recognizing the grind, the music, and claiming that Bmore is on a short list of the next cities to blow.  See yall on top.  Holla
