I HAVE A NEW SOLO PROJECT CALLED 'MONASTERYO' (NAMED AFTER A TERENCE TRENT D'ARBY TRACK FROM THE EARLY 90'S). THE SOUND IS BASICALLY STILL POP, BUT THE SONGS ARE PLAYED ON SYNTHS/PIANO.IT IS A MUCH BIGGER SOUND THAN BARBAROSSA AND THE BEATS ARE MORE MODERN R AND B AND HIP HOP. I HAVE A COUPLE OF SHOWS COMING UP THIS WEEK AND I WILL BE PLAYING LOVEBOX IN JULY. I WILL BE SETTING UP A MYSPACE VERY SOON, AND WILL LET YOU KNOW ANY NEWS. LOTS OF EXCITING THINGS ARE GOING ON AT THE MOMENT, I WILL FILL YOU IN VERY SOON. NOT SURE WHY I HAVE SONE THIS BLOG ALL IN CAPITALS, JUST LAZY I GUESS.

A new vinyl 12" release of 'The Pallyacho Tapes' will go into Rough Trade, Pure Groove and The Fence Records shop Tomorrow. Only 100 copies have been pressed up. They were designed by 'No days off' and look amazing. They are in a plastic sleeve held together by bright pink latex (ooh kinky) and sealed with a dark grey sticker.If you want to get your hands on one, you should be quick and go to any of these websites:

A Limited Edition 12" Vinyl EP entitled 'The Pallyacho Tapes' is to be released on Names Records soon. 2 tracks from which are up on the myspace page. The EP also features some home demos and a reworking of the track '7 years' produced by the wonderful Seven Sang. An album will follow next year!
