Just a heads up to any myspace blog subscribers who might not have been dropping by this page or amethystium.com lately: The new Amethystium album - Isabliss - is now out and available in music stores across the US as well as from digital music retailers worldwide. If you're in the US your best bet for finding the CD "offline" right now is probably your local Barnes & Noble store, who from this week on will be featuring Isabliss both on wall displays, listening stations and as in-store music (so they should have copies in stock). To order the album from Amazon.com click here.

Right now you can hear two songs from the album in full here on MySpace ("Treasure" and "La Pluie") as well as a sampler with short clips from all 11 tracks.

Finally; the title of the new Amethystium album is Isabliss, and it has the following tracklisting:

For now you can preview two exerpts from the songs "La pluie" and "Treasure" on MySpace. "La pluie" features Lee Nisbet performing the vocals, while "Treasure" has Stine Mari Langstrand on lead vocals, Siv Lena Laugtug Sæther on violin, Lee Nisbet on backing vocals, and lyrics by Joseph Snodgrass. Hope you enjoy these teasers!

Ten selected submissions from the Amethystium - "Arcus" remix contest last year (hosted by Sony’s ACIDplanet.com) have now been made available here on amethystium.com, in the new downloads section. Most of them are re-encoded and higher quality mp3s than the ones available on ACIDplanet’s contest site. Additionally, a great extra Arcus remix by Dave Williams from Deviations Project is also available for free download!

We hope you enjoy all the remixes, and thanks to everyone who participated in the contest!

Just a note to let you know that Neurodisc Records are releasing a special compilation tomorrow called "Beauty", in collaboration exclusively with Barnes & Noble. Amethystium.com is going through some changes again. Apart from the design alteration, the most noteworthy change for now is an upgrade of the music player, which now plays mp3s with considerably better sound quality than before.

The new site is still a work-in-progress so expect changes, additions, and new pages to pop up during the next few weeks.
