landmark day in Jib Machine Records history as we're releasing 3...yes
3 CDs in one day!!!  The first is the long-awaited disc from Hot Ham &
Cheese entitled Revolution & Revelations.  We're also releasing
Hostile Omish - Olde Order of Omish/Deluxe Remastered Edition
featuring 27 original remastered barncorn classic plus 2 bonus tracks
and the JibNation Mixtape 2 - The Ninja Returns.  The HH&C disc will
not be available on-line until later next week and can only be
purchased at shows on the Churn 'n Burn Tour (more on that in a

This Thursday, 4/24, marks the kick-off of the Churn 'n Burn Tour
featuring the Hostile Omish and Hot Ham & Cheese and sponsored by
Budweiser, Vitamin Water, Jib Machine Records, Scrub Radio, the
Cleveland Free Times and Gillespie's Map Room.  The tour will take the
guys across the country and back where they'll play 9 shows in 10

CLEVELAND (February 23, 2007) – Jib Machine Records is proud to announce its first release for label artist Johnny Mohawk and the Assassins. The CD titled "Drinking As Always" will be released on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 and will feature 11 tracks. It will be available for purchase at cdbaby.com/all/jibmachine, www.interpunk.com and Jib Machine Records shows.

The CD Release party is scheduled for Friday, March 16, 2007 at The World Famous Agora (5000 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44103). There will be performances by Johnny Mohawk and the Assassins, The Upsiders, Asinine, Chrome Kickers and another band TBD. The show will begin at 8:00pm.

Hot Ham * Cheese recorded an album this past month (February) for the RPM Challenge.  The challenge was...to record an album in 28 days, just because you can.  10 songs or 35 minutes of original material written and recorded during the month of February.  We decided to do this and the result was...beta.  10 tracks, 35 minutes...and 1 second :)  Below is the description we posted on the RPM site describing the disc...

beta is a lo-fi look behind the scenes of the band known as Hot Ham * Cheese.  Recorded entirely at their practice spot using both a Korg D-1600 and a TASCAM 4-track, the album takes the listener on a musical journey of impromptu, instrumental jams, which cover a wide range of styles (metal, punk, rock, blues, funk, experimental, psychodelic, etc.).  Strategically placed samples add to the mix.  So, sit back, relax, tune-in, tune-out and enjoy!
