Current mood:  nauseated

So I woke up a little early, beacuse some dude was gonna come and deliver my new 37" plasma. Eventually hes showed up at 1 in the afternoon, but the TV is great. Paul The Cop came by with his Nintendo Wii and we played for awhile. Erik Zooter brought over the Hotlines and they brought over some weed. Before I realised it, it was 8 and time to pay the Waterfront a visit.

It was a bit crowdier than the previous night, and there were so many people I hadn't seen in ages, like the Yum Yums and Chixdiggit. Beer all around, and at 10 the Yum Yums hit the stage and they rocked. Even some new songs that will hopefully be out very soon.

Some one-man band was up next, don't ask me why. So to the bar for Hertog Jan! The headliner of the night was Garagezilla, a band consisting of Jerry Hormone, Kepi Ghoulie, Barry Stiletto and Maurice from Beyond Lickin. They played a shitload of songs that I've never heard, but i have to admit it was entertaining and tight. I haven't seen Hormone with a tight band like this in years. Well, with the Apers ofcourse.

And after the show it was the Mario Party. At least I tried, but I was too drunk, so I went to bed. Today another day to rumble...

It's almost 9 in the morning, and last night was the first night of the Rotterdam Rumble 2007. It took place at the 'new' café which looks great btw.

Before the party started I met up with Tony, Jan and Steve from the UK. We shot some pool, had some beers and discussed the days that would follow.

When i arrived at the club there was a handfull of familiar faces having dinner. I was not invited...But anyway, Hotlines from the UK were up next, and did excellent. Really tight playing, good songs, good musicians.

The rest of the bands/acts pretty much sucked, and I hope that will be better today. But the party was good, especially for a Wednesday.

Outta here.

Current mood:  apathetic

I must blog more. I just read one of my blogs up here, and its fun. Especially because I forget so much due to things out of my control.

Last night The Apers played a show in Vlissingen, with Johnny No Good replacing Marino on guitar, It was a fun show, really nice evening and we got fuckin stoned.

Today I do nothing, just talking to Lisa on msn and hanging out

Keep it real

Hello! I finally found some time to write a new piece here. I had to wake up early today because some guy came to fix a few things in my house on the Kipstraat. Last night I went to the Waterfront and saw two bands. They both sucked, even though the last band, Psychopunch from a Scandinavian country, was said to be influenced by bands like Social Distortion, Ramones, Stooges and Sex Pistols. Well, I think they were influenced by my ass. Last weekend The Apers went to Switzerland for one show. We rocked out with the Backwood Creatures, Peacocks and the Surfaholics. Great party, great fun, bad weed, nice beer, freezingly cold, long drive, schnitzels and bratwurst. Like Madness would say: Oh, the fun we had! But how can I forget, the Apers Uk Tour 2004, in yo mothafuckin face biatch. It was an overall-great tour, eventhough we missed the plane back to Holland, which cost us another 400 pounds. The whole tourreport will be up somewhere, maybe on www.the-apers.com At the moment, we're planning the new apers full-length record which is due to be out March 31st, with a killer release party a gogo here in Rotterdam. So everybody, book yr tickets early, there's plenty of floorspace here in Rougherdam!

My girlfriend and me got a ride from the Accelerators last night, all the way to Den Helder. There, the Rotterdam punkrockers would play a show with the Hunchbacks from the UK at De Bliksem, a nice, small bar. Marcel Wouters showed up, we played hearts with Sopo and Davey Hunchback, met some old friends from Absconded, and both bands rocked hard. The bar made us pasta in pepper-sauce, but they overdid it with the pepper. The weather was shitty but the beer was great. Sopo and Willy Wanker got us back safely to Rotterdam. It was 5 o'clock at night, time to go to bed.

So I got up early today and went to get tickets for the Green Day concert. I got two for free on accident, so je suis een vrolijke camper. Tonight I'm going with the Accelerators to their show in Den Helder. Next week The Apers got some shows in NL. Party Party. And on November 4th we leave for 9 shows in the UK. Rock the casbah, peace in da middle east, I'm outta here.
