For those of you that haven't heard the good news yet...I'm Engaged! Yup, that's right. On December 3, 2005, I asked Aurora Thompson to marry me and she said yes. Actually she said "are you kidding?" and then she saw the ring and then she cried and then she finally said "yes, of course."

It was the best day of my life and everything went according to plan. To my friends that came down to help us celebrate, I love you all, my life wouldn't be complete without you. To my beautiful fiancee, I am the most blessed person alive to able to spend my life with you.

Yup, I finally got a job. I've recently been hired by Fox Channel 6 News. I'm a camera operator for the morning show. It's tons of fun and we get to go on location to a lot of places. We also shoot a show called FoxRox which showcases local bands so I get to do some creative camera work during the in-studio performances. I'm also filling in on occasion for Channel 4 at the Padres games running the score box, as well as various freelance work so if you have any local production gigs let me know.

Here's the latest from me. I have graduated. That's important. I still live in the same dorm that has housed me for the past 4 years. It's pretty sweet still being an RA but not having to put up with class. I spend the rest of my time at Petco Park as an intern for the Padres. Well more specifically, an intern for COX Channel 4 which televises the Padres games (see the pics). I get to hang out with the camera guys or the announcers or the directors; I pretty much get to see the game from any angle. It's probably the most fun thing I have ever done. All the guys at work are cool and I've gotten to know some of the players (not the jerks though). I've found my dream job.

I just wanted everyone to know that I will be seeing U2 in concert on March 30 at the San Diego Sports Arena. I waited all night in the cold only to be given a lottery ticket that didn't give me any priority over anyone else who got there before 8am. However I stuck it out and picked up a pair of tix. I'll let you know how it was.

Well it turned out to be a pretty good Christmas after all even though it was spent in Wiley. Shortly after that however I spent a week traveling the east coast with about a dozen of some of my favorite people in the world. It was incredible. We ended up in New York for a few days and even spent new years in Times Square with the big ball. But that wasn't as cool as spending the day with Conan O'Brian! We went to the show and it was increadible. But now I'm back to school and it's time to finish my last 5 months here.

Right now I'm sitting in my room in Young Hall. It's five days before Christmas, I don't have any shopping to do and I have the entire campus all to myself. It's pretty sweet. I just wander the empty halls and go through other people's food and movies. Christmas on campus is the best.
