how do you feel tonight St Louis... Brett Dennen explains the raw power of his shoes, as well as the cool company that makes them. go to http://www.tomsshoes.com/ Me and some of my people after the show - my good friends Brett and Devon. Turns out we're also fellow members of the freaky red eye club. David Ryan Harris and Robbie Macintosh of JM's band try out a swanky new clear guitar while Gus the dog tries out scratching his ear with his foot...and it works great... The CC banditos spent our 4th of July playing a concert on a golf course in upstate New York, as the sun went down on the Senior PGA Tour. We were hired by Dick's Sporting Goods, and they treated us like royalty. Exhibit A: our first trip together on a private jet. This was cause for many a happy/nervous "hope-this-doesn't-become-the-famous-last-ever" group picture...and one triumphant Creed claw by Mike White as we landed safely on the other side, greeting by a shiny limo. Hope you had a lovely day surrounded by friends, grillin', and blowing up some stuff real good.

We kicked things off on this tour at Milwaukee's legendary jumbo music buffet, Summerfest. Last year after our set I went to see Lindsay Buckingham, squeezed my way to the front, and got a big beer dumped on my head by an angry biker's girlfriend. In other words, it's always fun, oh gash don't cha know. my arsenal this summer... soundcheck 1, 2, 1, 2.... this is actually just a picture from one of my own gigs ...meanwhile, storm's a brewing outside... ...and Mike don't like it one bit, no... ...he fights off the thunder with Creed's music in his heart, grabbing mother nature by the hand.. no proper summer tour can kick off without a round of let's-make-up-a-shot...this toast to good music featured 1 part vodka, 1 part vitamin water and 1 heaping dose of Mike White's evil eyebrow. Will, basking in the love of the many thousands who have come to hear his keyboards. Hello Milwaukee... Hello Jumbo Justin... Hello Jumbo Colbie... Jumbo Sweaty Tim!...what's up man.... blue light special... JM lays it down, as viewed from the chilly VIP bleachers

2 Paris Fine wine, cobblestone streets, outdoor cafes, and Colbie Caillat...ah yes...Paris in le summer. This was our third - and perhaps sweetest - trip to France. Flew from Mexico City overnight, landing in Paris in the afternoon a full day later, thereby setting our timezone/sleep cycle/jetlag scramble into full swing. Drove straight to a TV studio to appear on a show called One Shot Not. Turns out the host is Manu Katché, Peter Gabriel's drummer and the man behind countless famous beats, including "In Your Eyes". Not only that, but moments after we had settled in and finished our soundcheck, we spotted Pino Palladino. He's the amazing bass player who lays the funky foundation to the John Mayer Trio and on the "Continuum" record, as well as D'Angelo's "Voodoo" - which is as sexy as an album can get (but also makes for great music to pack up your apartment, which is what I was doing 3 days prior to meeting him). They were performing on the show with Dominic Miller, a killer musician who has been Sting's guitarist for all his albums and tours since 1990. Whoa. Needless to say our band was giddy, and jumping at the chance to meet these heroes, and stumble out a few words of thanks and admiration for their music. We had beers backstage, hung out with the other bands and watched them play, hopped on for our three song set, wrapped up the show with a big jam session, and eventually joined up at a big afterparty downtown. Hence the tipsy pics below. The next day we played a full band show at a nice theatre in town called Alhambra. A great crowd of about 800 french folks made the room hot and electric and sweaty and showed us a good time. The band was cooking, Colbie sang like bird, and we called it a night with Beast of Burden, one of those clap-along-y'all fun covers. Mercy buckets Paris, we shall see you again in September. Or. Eh. Vwa! Check these cats out: http://www.dominicmiller.com/ http://www.pinopalladino.com/ http://www.manu-katche.com/home.htm http://www.arte.tv/fr/art-musique/one-shot-note/1494366.html adios, Mexico... ...bon jour Paris! Mikey B and Manu Katche talk digital cameras and drums Will, and our French friend Alex sharing a moment to snack, and look in the same direction together. Couple of monkeys. Manu, Pino and Dominic learning a cool song by Piers Faccini Me and Dominic Miller, the man behind so many of my favorite guitar parts Our performance on One Shot Not, cameraman's-butt view... Me and Pino Palladino...damn right we look related ahhh, le lights of perry it's camera time in da club some smiling, drinking, happy, jetlagged peoples... Mike White likes to pretend to pass out in awesome spots in public... ...meanwhile Baker plays live drums in da club along with techno... ...Mike White, now just passing out for real in an equally awesome spot... rocking the sock off French radio live at the Alhambra See ya in september!

Hi y'all! So a couple days ago we returned to the US of A to play a home cooked show in Atlanta. It was healthy for us in more ways than one. About a year ago we were in the same situation - returning from Europe...landing in Atlanta...tired and starving for good cheap mexican food and beer. We found it this time, just like last time, at our favorite little spot called Twisted Taco. Where I get ma beans. The show that night was way fun, and I was the opening act. My bruddah Justin Young took some clips of my set, to be posted soon. it looks glorious doesn't it? As a band, we bond over mexican food. Mike White's insides were still bonding over mexican food from our recent jouney to montezuma's house...but the boy is brave... Hey look Mom ...and on with the rocking...

Hello and hola mis amigos! I am happily bouncing in the back of a van in Mexico City, as me and the boys of Colbie's band roll to the airport. Last night we played at the Hard Rock Cafe here, and it was our first show together in several weeks, after some sweet time off. A laid back set of 8 songs for a smiling fun crowd of radio winners. La gente aqui canta muy nicely especially on "Bubbly". And yes there was a fog machine on stage. So the rust is off, the groove is still very much in the heart, and we are pumped up to tackle this summer tour in style. Speaking of which, I will be sporting new fashions this summer that I have purchased at a mall in California. Since joining this band I have come to accept the fact that jeans cost too much and there's no way around it. And, it's the first time in my life I have "really been looking forward to" what the summer line would bring at Buckle. A good store. So, watch me (occasionally) go trendy in the photos that will furnish this blog. adios! Tim here's what we played: Oxygen Little Things Realize Turn Your Lights Down Low Battle Bubbly Magic Feelings Show Bass player Mike White goes "haaaump!" on a uber authentic grande tostada...which...combined with the ice water he had, would later bring the wrath montezuma's revenge....woo... just so you know "a platter of cheetos the size of a surfboard" is written nowhere on our show contracts, so this was a surprise me, in one of my new shirts, being a dork, while colbie and marissa get ready. Will Gramling, Tim Fagan and Justin Young, warming up them vocals chords with colbie, moments before rocking.

ello friends, Amsterdam has been good to us. We played live on "Life & Cooking" yesterday. Fun show, and there’s already talk of me coming back to showcase my cornbread for a whole episode. Big fluffy snow flakes here, chocolate eggs stacked 300 high in a jar at the front desk. they didn’t mind that we snagged 30 to toss on mike baker as we (the whole band) jumped on him in his bed a 2am singing Toto’s "Rosanna". Happy Easter! Also, meet Larry. He joined our crew mid February, and he’s the first member of our entourage that really has no job purpose what-so-ever. But he’s quickly proving himself indispensable. A quick review of his track record thus far: Oslo - First day on board, and he’s already sprinting down hotel hallways. Oslo - Looking tough on the street with bass man Mike White. Stockholm - Larry likes to get into a glass of wine at dinner, keyboardist Will Gramling wonders about this new guy. Zurich - To the dismay of the boys in the band Larry swoops in on Julia, our Swiss record label friend. Amsterdam - Within seconds of landing in Holland, Larry bails, leaving tour manager Trinidad Sanchez III holding the bag. Amsterdam - Unwinding after a long day of doing nothing. Amsterdam - Larry hits it off with the local hansels and gretels. Amsterdam - Sadly, I abandoned Larry with his new foreign friends...and realized this mistake just as we all boarded an amazing dinner cruise of the canals. See the concern on my face. Amsterdam - After frantically racing back to that souvenir shop, shouting Larry’s name, I find him chilling with store owner Fritz. They were talking about life. Amsterdam - Back at the American Hotel lobby lounge, we let the excitement of the day melt away listening to keyboardist Will Gramling tickle them ivories while bass man Mike White looks on. Amsterdam - Larry plays us one of his own songs. Paris - Ah, the city of lights. Tokyo - Letting the Shibuya district buzz by. Tokyo - Larry lands a nice dinner. Tokyo - And a hot date. Tokyo - They don’t need fancy conversation. Tokyo - And a photo with her sister, as smooth hawaiian Justin Young checks in bags in the background. Tokyo - Larry and singer Colbie Caillat, saying siyanara for now.

ello ello er’body,
greetings from paris, it’s zero degrees celsius which spells chilly any way you slice it. to get in the rooms here you use your fingerprint no joke, and there are no numbers, just names. I’m staying in "Ennio" tonight. Odd. But we’ve stayed here before, so it’s also oddly comforting to be back with Ennio, good guy. Tomorrow we play a song on a TV show, hosted by a dude in a beret and striped shirt smoking a cigarette (probably), soon after that it’s off to another euro-riffic country (stay tuned). Sooner than all of that I’m headed out to go shopping with Colbie because it has been determined that I must buy new jeans. very serious.
go check out this cool video of the band rocking in the studio last month. http://soundcheck.walmart.com/colbiecaillat.html
and go have fun, Tim

Hi Everybody, Tonight my song "Soldiers" will be aired on CBS! It's in a new episode of the courtroom drama "Shark", with James Woods. Look for a scene where Sebastian (Woods) finds marijuana in his daughter's room. Dude...busted! ------------------------------------- Thursday, April 12 on CBS 10pm et/pt Episode summary: "Porn Free" Sebastian faces an uphill battle in court when the respected head of a women's shelter creates a positive "vigilante justice" media buzz for the killing of a predatory porn producer. --------------------------------------- My main man Gregg Leonard (who also mixed my first album, Whirlpool) landed the placement for the song, so if you're in the vicinity of Ann Arbor, Michigan, stop by Big Sky Recording and give him a high five.
If you want to come watch it with me, I'll be at the Burbank Bar and Grille (normally I'd be at the Santa Monica Bar and Grille, but this week is a switcheroo). I'll take a set break at 10pm, we'll watch it on the widescreens, then I'll do a shot of tequila and play the live version just for you.
with drugs and porn, Tim
