Celebrating the diverse LGBT community in Peoria and Central Illinois, the first Peoria Pride event will be held at the Peoria Riverfront Landing from Noon - 6 pm. Individuals, couples, families, kids and people friendly pets are welcome.

Vendors, Exhibitors and Sponsors are welcome at this event.  More information and forms are available on our website.

Admission is $5 per person at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free when attending with their family. Food, refreshments and entertainment will be available all day.

The theme for Peoria Pride 2009 is A Bridge to Diversity.

The goal of this event is to not only build pride in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) community, but also to reach out to our friends, allies and the community at large.

Out & About is seeking personable, responsible people to sell advertising in our new magazine for the Central Illinois LGBT community.
You should be able to with a diverse client base and always present a professional, knowledgeable appearance and attitude.  We are looking for representatives in the following cities and surrounding areas: Bloomington, Champaign, Quad Cities, and Quincy.

Position is part-time, commission only to start.  You will also have the opportunity to sell additional services provided by Out & About's parent business, Spot On Concepts, which include graphic design, advertising and logo/promotional gifts & accessories.  This can be a great job for students and others looking for some extra cash.
