Hello, good day, and welcome to our first blog in a very long time,
Here's an update for the faithful...you probably already know this info and if so, this will be just a little reminder.

First off, we're playing in Daytona Beach this Saturday, March 14th at Full Moon Saloon.  Doors open at 8pm and show starts at 9pm.  Nickoloff and Infury8 round out the bill.  It's tough to beat hanging in Daytona Beach on a Saturday...do it.

Secondly, on April 9th we're playing right here in Jville at the recently remodeled Pit.  This show is a big one since we're opening for 90s alt/pop rockers Marcy Playground.  Tickets are $15.00 and you can buy them from us.  If you'd like some, please message us through myspace or email (thepictureshow@msn.com) and we'll throw in a Blur EP with them.

And last but certainly not least, those of you who are starved for some new music (so are we) will be thrilled to hear that we begin work on the new record the first week of April!  We have about 12-15 songs for consideration...we'll post a preliminary tracklisting as soon as we figure it out.  We feel the songs are just as strong, if not stronger, than those off of SID...

We hope to have it completed and in your cd player, ipod, turntable, mp3 player, car, underneath your beer, etc. by summer time.

Hello gents,

Just wanted to send a big thanks to all who came out to the OC Saturday night, it was (again) one hell of a good time!  Also a huge thanks to The Mission Dolls and Manna Zen for taking the stage and thoroughly destroying it, hopefully we can get together and do it again soon.  We're going to take a short break to work on some new tunes and possibly record a few new acoustic songs, but we'll see you in the near future when we take the stage at Fusion in St. Augustine sometime in early October.   By the way we keep saying that every show is completely unique, well this one goes out to those of you who stormed the stage! (nice dancing, you know who you are)

Just a few quick things that are going on with your favorite band TPS! 

First, how many of you are aware of "Acoustic Cafe" which is out in stores as well as everywhere online? 

It features two TPS songs: "Give In" and the acoustic version of "Majestic" which is one of our profile songs, but was givin a little more of the "Mastering treatment" for the album.  If you haven't seen it please check it out asap, it has a ton of other artists that you might enjoy as well! 

Now onto the live shows, we're always trying to spice things up with different set lists and hopefully different moods and the next fews weeks should be no exception!  We have a couple of great shows coming up at STUDIO 80 (Bourbon Street) Thursday 6/19 as well as 9TH AND MAIN (Downtown) 7/11, and we want to see all of you there.  You never know, you might catch the acoustic Majestic or At Most Pt 1, you might catch Johnny "the kid" Ito streaking the stage.  Whatever happens it's going to be fun and passionate!  These shows are nothing without you guys, so we'll see you there! 

We are working on the Summer of TPS calendar, so stay tuned for more dates.

Hey everyone -

I have some bad news, I regretfully have to inform you that we are having to cancel our part of the show at the Pit on Wednesday. I have come down with a severe ear infection that will prevent us from performing.

Please go out and support Ron Rodriguez & the Repeat Offenders and Nimble Jim anyway. It should be a great show.
