First and foremost thanks to everyone for showing their support and giving so much love, my never ending love to y'all.

Updates

We are looking to play bills around the midwest, so any bands looking to fill a bill around the area, hit us up.

We have a small amount of tickets left among our original 50 for I AM Fest on June 13th, however you can purchase them on ticket master for 15 bucks, so if you are planning on going make sure to hit that up because it is 20 dollars at the door. This show is going to be great, with a half a day of non stop music and exhibits at a fantastic venue. Also there is talk of an after party, in which everyone will be bused there via tour bus and/or school bus. So yeah come party with us!

Also you may have noticed we have posted two new shows at Peace Fest and the Elbo Room. Peace Fest as most of you may know is being held near north beach, you will be able to see it off LSD. It is on the 20th and we are playin the headlining slot at 8.

The Elbo Room show will be the next day June 21st, and this particular show is important because there will be a professional camera crew filming, so we need ya'll to be there to put your craziness on the record. There will also be an interview afterwards, which will all be available once it is mastered several weeks after the show in which time we will use as our first demo! We will be playing the headlining slot at 11 pm.

Thats all for now, drop us a line and show some love, we always enjoy hearing from our fans.

Updates:
First of I want to update everyone on the current band line-up as of yet. We have recently made Mark officially the new Phat Cats guitarist, so leave him a congratulations and show him some love. He is a very versatile guitar player who has a great sound for our band. So here is the official lineup...

Laura (Vocals)
Mark (guitar)
Jason (bass)
Bev (drums)
Paul (keys)
Joe (sax)

Some of you might be wondering why there are certain members that you remember seeing or hearing that don't seem to be around anymore. Well now is a good time to tell you all that they simply don't exist. We took composites of random faces/bodies and simply mixed them up and made images of a couple people. The people you saw in the pictures were merely made with a paint program and photoshopped in. As for the shows you think you saw them in, they were advanced holograms designed to look like they are playing and singing the music, when really their parts in the songs were recorded by session musicians in a studio somewhere in the greater Toledo area, and played on stage. So that is the truth, and we apologize for any confusion this might have caused. In any case, now we have a band made entirely out of people! So that is certainly an improvement.

Upcoming Events:
Since our last show we have written four new songs, and have several more in the works, so be prepared for a whole new set on May 6th at the Elbo Room. This, as most of you know, is the battle for congress, where several bands are competing for the two opening slots at I AM Fest on June 13th. The first round is on Wednesday May 6th, and the second round will be on Saturday May 16th. You can either come to the show, or if you can't, you can watch us play and vote for us at battleforcongress.com. More show updates to come.

Misc:

We are currently trying to come up with ideas for a Phat Cats logo, so if any creative minds want to throw some ideas our way, it would be appreciated.

SO thats about it for now. Leave some comments and show your love.

Living With Nothing to Lose

I know that I've been cold as ice
this life we lead is no paradise.
Something's got to give cause it's too hard.

My world's a mess, mad disarray
I start to question all my ways.
Someone tell me which way do I run?

I'm sorry but I've got to say
our love has got to end one day.
Forever we just cannot stay this way.

Feels this way aint it a crime
everything built all falls sometime.
Got to leave the ruins behind.

It's time for us to reason how
ten years away but not right now.
Though it really breaks my heart to say.

You went away I stayed at home
You've got your life I've got my own.
Who'd of thought it then?

Now you want what you can't have
with nothing but the air to grab
gone out that door never to come back.

Love aint always a winning game
it's sad when your heart puts you to shame.
Keep on livin with nothing to lose.

You just keep on livin
You keep on livin
You keep on livin with nothin to lose

You just keep on livin
You keep on livin
You keep on livin with nothin to lose

You just keep on livin
You keep on livin
You keep on livin with nothin to lose

You just keep on livin
You keep on livin
You keep on livin with nothin to lose

I know that I've been cold as Ice
This life we lead is no paradise.
Something's got to give cause it's to hard.

Too Far

I found I found brighter streets.
I play the game, know I play for keeps.
Now that the day is gone, I've gone too far.

You ran just to pass the time.
I dug but the well ran dry.
Now that the night's arrived, You've gone too far.

I tried but it didn't take.
The efforts lax and far too late.
Now no way to deny, we've gone too far.

You ran just to run away.
I kept my ground but lost the way.
Now that the sun has set you've gone too far.

I'm chained, lord with no way out.
A wall or a pending drop.
I'd fall, no place to land. I've gone too far.

You left, it was ok to go.
I faced the fact that I'd never know.
Now that it's all in pieces, we've gone too far.

I'd sail cross the seven seas.
To find that one piece I need.
Now I just know that I, I've gone too far.

I long for a brighter side.
A home with no need to hide.
Now to wake the slumbered fire, you've gone too far.
