Brad, Rob & I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for coming out to the charity event tonight at Club Congress; it was a great time for such a very important cause. As all of you know, our streets are crazy dangerous, when we (S.M.F) were in the beginning plans for the festival we were looking for a local charity to contribute to; as soon as we heard about Kory’s tragedy & his Brother Kyle’s dream of building a Bike Park in his honor in Tucson, we knew that we had found the charity we were looking for. It is so important that we thank all of the performers that showed off their amazing skills tonight, the venue, our sponsors, the Laos family & every one that has been involved in any way with the charity.

Hi I am TreeZ Phipps from A Personal Reality Video Productions.

My company along with Suicidal Motor Sports & Gypsy’s Promotions has collaborated to bring local music & the community together for a great cause. I’m not sure if you have heard of Kory Laos, Kory was riding his Bike home from the U of A with his friends when an SUV driver turned in front of him clipping his back fender & sending him into traffic where he was ran over by another vehicle; Kory died two days before his fifteenth birthday at UMC. His brother Kyle was doing some research & found out that Tucson doesn’t have a bike park & started a petition; Kyle & his family & friend’s gathered 10, 000 signatures & received 8.8 acres of land that was donated to the park by Pima County.

We are having two events that will help raise money & awareness for this very worthy cause:

We are hitting road blocks at every turn in getting sponsors on board as everyone is very tight with finances, I'm sure you can understand. We are scaling down the show to a much smaller venue; our budget is far too small at this point to include a large majority of the acts we are working with. We are postponing the large festival on 5-9-09, date T.B.A. We sincerely apologize. Several large sponsors have indicated they would love to be a part of the event and would like an opportunity to consider our event when they are figuring out the 2010 budgets for their companies in October of this year. As much as we regret having to scale back, we believe it is the best thing to do for the cause and the future fund raising efforts of this event. Please attend the Kory Laos charity event, silent auction and media party on 5-8-09 @ Club Congress & 5-10-09 @ The Rock w/N.Y.C. & HEMLOCK.
