As you may know, i have a plethora of vintage keyboards in my studio (thats why its called the Analogue Cupboard)!
So ive been thinking there are probably loads of you out there that would like real Moogs, Hammonds, Rhodes, Clavs, Acoustic piano putting on your tracks to give some that something extra.
Please check out Jd73.co.uk for the full equipment list
What im gonna do is start offering my playing and intstrument services for a small fee that suits your budget.
So not only do you get some of the rarest keyboards around on your tracks recorded at the highest quality by a great engineer (little old me!) you even get JD73 playing on your tracks too!!
If this sounds exciting please send me a message on here or here: jazzdoctor73@gmail.com Prices are negotiable for any budget. I can email tracks or you can attend the session if you are local.

Thanks to everyone listening to the tunes on the player here, its great to see the numbers jumping up loads recently and i want to thank everyone for listening by uploading a new track to the player today. Its a brand new remix of a tune called 'All We Can Do' by The New Mastersounds (One Note Records), the original track taken from their latest album 'Plug and Play'. Ive added the JD73 treatment to the track with Rhodes, Moogs and my beats and i reckon this version will do some dancefloor damage!!
Anyway, thanks for your continued support and enjoy the new remix.
Also, the new upcoming album is just being edited and mixed over the next few months and some clips will be posted soon. This will be the first JD73 album to feature almost entirely vocal tunes featuring guest artists. Im very excited about it!

Good weekend to y'all!
Just writing this to say a massive thanks to everyone that turned up for the JD73 gig at Royal Festival Hall last night. The atmosphere was electric throughout and the vibe from the audience was inspiring and really spurned us on to play a great show. It really means a lot to feel the love in such a big way from a crowd and the gig will be etched in our memories for years to come as one of those magical moments that only happen once in a while. Still buzzing from it all! So THANK YOU ALL for your support!
Ill keep everyone posted on future shows here and abroad. If you want to pick up a copy of the album please follow these links.
itunes.com/jd73 http://www.klicktrack.com/ropeadope/releases/jd73/zeros-and-ones

Just posted this track that i made a couple of years back that was sitting in the vast JD73 vault! Its as big as princes ya know!!
Got loads of radio play on this track and won tune of the month over at Ninja Tunes Solid Steel radio show. Features my good friend Remedy on vocals (also featuring on my next JD73 album which will be out next year)and Chyna B (nightmares on wax) on backing vox. Also featured is the spectacular one take bass playing of Mr Darth Basser himself Greig Robinson. Once youve listened to the track as a whole, go back and listen again and check Greigs styles! Amazing i tell ya!
Anyway, more updates soon-out of the studio at mo as waiting for Apple to deliver their new laptops. Also loads of random ish kicking off which ill be able to update you on soon.
Enjoy How We Play

The new work in progress JD73 2nd album(provisionally titled KickBack) is now almost fully formed and the tracks are all recorded after several weeks of intensive graft with many great vocal artists including Nate James, Ella May, Aiwan and Remedy (rappers), John McCallum (vox and talkbox!) Lana and even myself on one track!!
Many of my great musical/friends/family have already contributed world class performances to the album including Ed Collins Ron Christlow and Tobe Greenwood on horns, Sam Bell on Percussion, Parminder Birdi on Tabla, Gordon Kilroy on drums, Ben Barker and Johnny Heyes on guitars, and Bill Laurance on Accordion, Piano and Uud, whilst ive been laying down the heavy rhodes, moogs, piano, clavinet, vocoder, solina, p-bass, hammond and more! All ill say is expect the unexpected!! Its sounding HOT!!
More on KickBack in the coming months...
