hey everybody,
i got the job at bumble and bumble! I've been working there for about 3 weeks now, and it's really fun. totally crazy, and busy all the time, but fun. I'm a color apprentice, and that means that I only work in the color department, no cutting hair for me.

so i'm going to need color models every monday from now on until, like, 2 years from now, so lemme know if you are off on mondays and want some color hook up!

So i just graduated Aveda, one of the top in my class! yay.

Now I'm on the job hunt, with one place in particular i'm hoping for.

Oh yeah, by the way, I am now in school full time at the Aveda Institute New York. If all goes well, I'll be cutting and coloring hair at a salon near you next fall. and of course my kitchen salon is always open, 24/7 - men's cut = 1 mix tape, men's color = 1 seveninch off my wantlist, women's cut = 1 six pack of IBC root beer, women's color = 2 vegan cupcakes of assorted flavors.

actually, i did all the work on the scooter with lots of help and guidance by scottish mike at scooters originali. the whole process took about 3 weeks, and was completely exhausting. i loved every minute of it!

My local coffee shop Baked has really helped me settle in to my life in Red Hook. I was informed this week that they would now be charging 50 cents extra for soy milk.

that's effin bullshit.

So I concocted this plan of attack including a letter writing campaign, boycott, and protests. This was all in my head, of course.

When I went in the very next day to spit in the faces of my enemies, I was informed that they decided to stop charging extra for soy milk, and that life would return to normal.

THAT'S RIGHT BITCHES! YOU READ MY MIND AND KNEW THE POWER THAT I HAVE OVER YOU! I COULD DESTROY YOU LIKE SANTINO WILL DESTROY NEW YORK FASHION WEEK FOR ALL ETERNITY!

(needless to say, i've had 2 cups of coffee already WITH SOY MILK YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!)

in truth, he stayed and talked to our group for a few minutes, and then headed off to get more beer. i was seriously star struck. it'd be different if it was just some dude from survivor or that white guy from chapelle's show. those guys are famous, but i wouldn't pee my pants over seeing them in a bar.
