This is a two sentence phrase from the book 'Prayer' by Philip Yancey that really strikes me:
"I used to worry about falling asleep during prayer. Now as a parent I understand. What parent wouldn't want her child to fall asleep in her arms?"

Hey family,
I dropped a fresh new collaboration called MYTH AND A MAN. I worked with Dean Saviour once again, who is the same musician involved in 'My World', a track that generated great buzz in Malta, which earned me my Bay Music Award nomination! Dean is a fantastic songwriter, and I was honoured to be able to take his work to a singing level! I was over to his house for a jamming session, when he showed me some of his works and he brought Myth and a Man to my attention and asked me to have a spin at a melody for it. We have many ideas in common, and we always work it to the top at the studio...this time no exception!!
We recorded the guitars on Saturday and I had Sunday to add some instruments, mix the music, record the vocals, add background vocals, and mix/master/mish-mash everything up!!! :) Not too bad huh?!!! I will let you have a listen, but just know this: It's better to be a man than to be a myth!!! Peace...

Myth and a Man
Have you ever heard of myth and a man? Well you’re more myth and you’re sinking in quick sand The camera crew trying to pull you out It’s alright; you know you’re still a hero
I think someone needs a diagnose He cracked his skull(head) and he’s filling it with blow Publicist says he’s got control Put a needle through my vein, supreme comatose
And who are you to make me feel that you could not survive your life That’s no surprise
Come on, stand up and be a man You wanted this and now it’s fuck(screw) the fans Friday night on a chat show, what d’you know? Your daddy didn’t love you
Whatever happened to your master plan? Get rich and famous, and make them understand That you were no-one, you come from nowhere, And now you’re someone to be an inspiration
And who are you to make me feel that you could not survive your life That’s no surprise
The methodology of your fame The glitz and glamour celebrating the insane For every second of you that is frozen in time Is a second in time that you can never hide
written by Dean Saviour, produced by Jay Omaro, guitars by Dean Saviour

If you don't receive Jesus Christ and become a born again Christian, then you will sadly burn in Hellfire for all eternity (John 3:18, 36; Revelation 20:15; 21:8). Perhaps you say, "That born again stuff makes no sense to me." Well, most people can't explain how a black cow can eat green grass, give white milk, and then it's turned into yellow butter—but they still eat it!

Freedom...is not doing whatever you want, whenever you like, if you feel like, and how many times you want! That is being selfish and greedy! Reading the book 'Battlefield of the Mind' by Joyce Meyer, I realised the beauty of the freedom that God intended for us, through the perfect example of Jesus Christ. To me, freedom is inner peace. A peace that is not easily shattered, a peace of strength in a world of infinite weaknesses. Freedom from the evil thoughts that the devil is trying to press me down with! I finally understand the meaning of the Lord lifting you higher! My mind is the battlefield and my opponent is Satan. This is the holy war, and my weapons are the word, praise and prayer. Whenever he attacks me, these are the tools God gave me to keep my ground, and fill the empty place in my mind with Godly thoughts. An empty place is indeed a place...a place for the devil to find a home and inject some of his influences into my head. Whenever I shift to my three weapons, I find the peace. I find the freedom. Praise the Lord, he is worthy of my praise.

It's 1 to the A to the M!! I m bloody tired today! Had a positive day... Met up with my friend Carrie who is one of my top friends...went down Piccadilly Circus, St. James Park, that sort of London area. I really love her style and big things are in store for her! I m co-writing with her next week, and I just realised how much I love working with other people. I dont just enjoy creating music for my self. I get a lot of satisfaction out of doing it for other talented artists. And because she's more on the alternative dark sound, it's gonna rock even more when I put my touch into her music. Yup, cant wait...Monday!!!
Also next week, I m so excited that i m joining force with Dean Saviour, the same guy who I worked with for my track "My World". He's a brilliant song-writer too, and here's my first track in what I can't believe has been a year. Hint: quite some Jimi Hendrix goin onnnn!
Another weekend s comin up. Yall have a good one, and keep it pure!!!
^_^ P.S - Check out my song of the week: Voodoo Doll by Fergie

"Follow me. Suddenly the familiar invitation leaped out at me with a new force. Leave all that you have. Really, what was there in the world that was worthwhile? You couldn't count on anything the world had to offer. Friendship could be destroyed in a moment because people valued what you had, not what you were, whereas God's love is perfect. Human love just couldn't measure up to it. Even the most perfect love would ultimately be destroyed by death. In fact, when you came to think about it, death was the only thing in life that you could be absolutely certain of.
Follow me. How much more satisfying to leave all the emptiness of the world and follow Christ!"
Through The Narrow Gate - Karen Armstrong

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

It's me again,
There's this London INDIE record label which approached me and expressed interest in me signing with them. The MD of the label absolutely loves 'Luxuriate' and has three contracts to offer me, the most basic one being a 3-year recording contract. It's amazing that finally I could be doing music professionally and having the opportunity to take it as my official profession! I'm really weighing things at the moment, and I have to give him an answer as soon as possible. Still undecided yet! Will post a blog when I find an answer!
