They can be gotten at our shows. You may even be able to beg one off of us for free. Thanks to Patricia Melo, who designed them.

This is just a quick note to let you know that we've released the second of our download-only seasonal EPs, this one entitled Summer. I'm of the opinion that it's some of our best work yet, but don't take our word for it, as Levar Burton would say, give it a listen yourself right here. Also, there's a song from the EP on our profile, entitled "You're In Love With the Sun." You can listen to the EP for free using the link above, but if you enjoy the music, we'd really appreciate if you'd support us by buying the EP for a measly €2.50 (which works out to about $3.32 or so). Oh, and here's the beautiful artwork done by our friend, and nearly constant cover artist, Julia Green:

After over a year in the planning stage, we've finally released our split CD with Lions and Eagles! Below is the wonderful album artwork by Julia Green. Each band has contributed four songs, and you can listen to our song "Scotland" on our profile. You can preview their songs "Twice Removed" and "West Pacific" on their profile. Since this CD only has 8 songs, you can get it for the recession-style price of $6! It's available here on our MySpace profile, from cominginsecond.com, or from the Record Exchange in Boise.

So, our good friends at Indiecater have commissioned a few very talented artists to give the songs on our Spring EP the old remix treatment. So far, one has come in, and we're extremely happy with it. Soon, more will be available, and it will be at that point that we'll make these available for downloading into MP3 player of choice. Woo-hoo!

If you're on Twitter, feel free to follow us at http://twitter.com/theverymost. We'll be updating that more often than our status here, so for those of you who just can't get enough The Very Most news (I can't imagine there's many of you who literally "can't get enough" but I could be wrong) you know where to go.

Here's our exciting news everyone. This calendar year, every three months, The Very Most will be releasing a new download-only EP through our friends at Indiecater Records, a superb, relatviely new label in Dublin, Ireland. The first EP is coming out in less than a month on February 1st. The theme of the EPs are the seasons of the year, so this first one that's coming out in February is simply entitled "Spring". Here's a few more details. We'll keep you posted as more details become available. We're extremely excited about this project and equally excited to be working with Indiecater. They've released some amazing stuff. Be sure to browse their past releases (they're all available to preview) and get some if they suit your fancy.

So, we've gotten some reviews back on "This year, Christmas came November 4th" that I thought some of you might be interested in. Thanks kind reviewers! I know it's kinda shallow and weird, but it sure feels nice to get good reviews.
"...he song "This Year Christmas Came November 4th" by The Very Most is excellent, with a really Christmassy feel and a not very subtle political message." - Adrift on Deep Water
"...wonderful..." - Drop-D Music journal
"Some of my favourites include my fellow Norwegians in The Remington Super 60, one of my new favourite bands The Very Most (who also have this song on Cherryade's christmas compilation "A very cherry christmas 4″ and who also released a brilliant album this year called "Congratulations Forever")" - Eardrums Music
"Very Most's Christmas Came November 4th is very twee, but nicely festive with bells and sweet female backing vocals" - Russell Barker for Russell's Reviews
"Outrageously good. 'This Year, Christmas Came November 4th' by Idaho's The Very Most is surely written by Brian Wilson?" Lobster Quadrille
"The Very Most are properly up for the festivities with their 'Christmas Came November 4', a classy sounding pop number which has lots of chimes and features the word 'christmas' a lot." - Tasty
"The Very Most chip in with 'Christmas came November 4th', a quartet hailing from Idaho who to date have managed to sneak out two albums that have seemingly sneaked beneath our usually attentive radar to much grumbling. This tenderly tingling dash of tastiness embraces all manner of west coast accents and heart hugging fondness to smother your listening space in a shimmer like twinkling honeycombed homeliness whose sole purpose it seems is to arrest your psyche with a beautifully radiating fuzzy glow - does it for us." - Losing Today

One of our favorite local performance venues, Flying M Coffeegarage in Nampa, has just released a compilation of some of the bands that have graced the stage at their fine establishment. It includes bands from both near and far, including Mount Eerie, Finn Riggins, Johanna Kunin, The Invasion, Point Juncture, WA, Paleo, Arizona, Hillfolk Noir, Loch Lomond, and, us, the Very Most. Loads of good music from loads of great bands, all for only $5! Pick one up at either Flying M location or at the Record Exchange.
