the Coolin' System recently recorded two songs (the Prophet and Dracula) via 1/2 inch tape at GED Soul Studios with Nick "the man" DeVan, which we plan to put on wax and release in the fall. We recorded LIVE to a reel to reel machine. We were all in the same room with baffles, no headphones, no overdubs, the real deal...We recorded 3 takes of each song. We have included alternate takes here on myspace that won't be on the record, but these tracks have no EQ on anything and roughly mixed. Enjoy and let us know what ya think!!!
