Time for another update!

After Maarten has been on vacation the last two weeks recording goes on :)

We provide you with a new song snippet - "Open the gates". Listen and tell us what you think.

Also the search for a label continues and we have found a bassist that is doing the bass parts for the album right at the moment *yeah* - we are really proud that he is working with us, it is...
Well, we tell you later ;)

Two more songs to do and the tracklisting for the debut album is complete, meaning that there is light at the end of the tunnel :)

Hello everybody out there,

seems like we have made it into the summer slump ;) Could be the explanation for not having posted anything for quite a while now. And yes, it is true, we have all been on vacation for one or the other day. Adrian and me got together last week after a three week break and believe me, the creative energy is still there - seems like even more than before. Carie is still burning her skin under the turkey sun but she will be back here in Germany by september to do the finishing lines for the album. There is a light at the end of the tunnel :)

Just to sweeten your waiting time we provide you with two new snippets :) as usual they will give you a hint of what you can expect from the album - it's going to turn out very versatile with a lot of different styles and musical directions. As I have mentioned Adrian and me got together last week doing a new song - it turned out very very orchestral, maybe we'll post some parts of the instrumental before Carie will be doing the vocal parts ;)

At the moment we also start to care about the cover artwork and selecting the tracks that will definitely find their way onto our debut album - as soon as there is a playlist or some cover artwork available we'll let you know.

first of all,
Carie has ridden out the operation and is hopefully going to be well soon.
Seems like there will be no signs of a broken nose left... phew

Now to the happier part
New nose, new song ;)

Adrian and me have just finished doing some more backing vocals for the new tracks and due to the fact we haven't posted anything new for quite a long time now here it is - another new snippet from the upcoming album - "Heaven Burns" is a quite powerful track with a really strong chorus and a deeply melodic bridge - first time that Carie shows off some different qualities of her voice ;) We hope you like it as much as we had fun writing and recording this song. And remember - it is a snippet, so the end of the track is not the end of the song - you can imagine what will happen after the end of the snippet ;)

Hi readers and friends :) ,

we had a great time during the last days reworking the mixes of the material we have been creating so far...

We've decided to take away the demo takes from our space and provide you with the new mixes that will hopefully find their way to the final album as they are, apart from the final mastering which we won't do by ourself :)

We are really proud of what we have achieved so far and we are pretty sure that you'll like the power and energy that the new mixes bring out of the songs...

Just to let you know - the instrumental parts for the album are finished - 14  Tracks :)
Some more vocal recordings in July and then - we will have finished the recording process - Seems like it's getting hot, time for rehearsals...

Long time we haven't posted something new concerning music, we're still in the studio doing the polish for the rough materials. There are still some vocal recordings left but we're sure that all the recordings will be done by the end of august. (keeping our fingers crossed ;)

Okay, nearly 2 weeks we haven't posted anything here - but remember, we are working hard for the album every day - there is not much time left till the planned release in october / november. But time for an update now.

The recordings with Carie went fantastic last week. She did an incredible job on her parts. 4 new songs done so far :) Additionally Adrian and me joined in to record our background vocal parts which turned out to an blasting amount of recorded tracks. Much material to choose from ;)

Adrian has also done some guitar overdubs for some of the new and some of the already recorded material  - amazing things happening - believe it.

To give you an insight on what we have been doing we have uploaded a little longer snippet of "Our time" - a track that could already be heard as instrumental snippet on our page before.

This track is quite the essence of the sound we aim for with the album - we truly hope that you'll like the new stuff as much as we had fun producing it.

We are also preparing for the rehearsals to get the whole thing on stage - maybe there will be some video material in the near future - from the recordings and the rehearsals... who knows ;)

We're happy that Johan van Stratum, (Stream of Passion, Bass) took his time to listen to our songs and provided us with some feedback on the material. Seems he liked it ;)

Hey followers, just an short update on what is going on.

Besides the recordings of the new material (next rehearsal is today in the evening) we just wanted to say thank you for all your support and encouragement. Truly this is what keeps the wheels turning and we are overwhelmed by the reactions we have gotten so far...

Be sure that we are constantly moving to reach the next level, musically as well as promotional and your support is a really great help in taking us there.

Carie will be in our studio in Germany during the next week and I'm sure there will be great things to come, so keep an eye on new snippets within a fortnight.

So far that's it for now , we'll keep you informed.
