Hello Hello!

It's time for another TiFFcast episode! This time I get a chance to sit down with one of my favorite musicians of all time, Valente, to talk about his music and his upcoming EP. We even get a live serenade of the Blue Nile song, "Toledo."

Come on and listen to the best TiFFcast episode to date (in my humble opinion). And remember, you can DEMAND Valente in your city. Visit his MySpace profile to learn more.

Hey everyone! A special TiFFcast video interview with Imogen Heap is up for your viewing pleasure!! I caught up with Immi back in November while on her biggest tour to date. Lots of fun talking about touring, her music, what's coming up in the world of Imogen Heap, a special lightening round of questions from her forum of fans (the iBabble), and even a live performance of "Just For Now."

Kate Havnevik sxsw

Blogging on the 'Spaz because Blogger is craptastic!! Boo Blogger - should call it Booger. Mmm boogers... Okay!!

(Quick note about boogers though... Ioan Gruffudd has a yummy big nose and is shown in all it's glory in the Horatio Hornblower mini-series. Everyone needs to check this out because it's so awesome!! It's about the British navy and Horatio who is moving up in the ranks to be a captain and people demand satisfaction and challenge each other to duels and there are dirty Frenchies and oh... I love it so! Oh ya, and they have cool hats).

So on to the blog. Pictured above is the lovely and talented Kate Havnevik at SXSW!!

Made my way to Austin for the day to see Kate and hang out with the Temposhark boys and Ryan (of the Obermeyer variety). They were all so great and it was such a nice day trip. Headed out early as had a scheduled meet with Rob in the morning and after some drama on the road and a detour, we met up with Rob and had breakfast with him, Luke, and Temposhark's manager, Mick. I love eating with British people, they're so funny!!

A quick walk down to the festival and it was off to deliver cookies to Kate. Saw her up on the balcony and she waved and blew us a kiss. Her set was soooooooooooo great! Really chilling. I love watching great performers perform!! Was funny to see Gotti tape the show with a camera in one hand a beer in the other. Got handed the camera after ths show and followed Kate around backstage while the band packed up. Then it was off to Kate's second gig for the day and I got to carry the Glockenspeal!! It was hard work, but I managed. Beers and cookies back stage before Kate went on and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Right before the gig started, Gotti handed me the camera and got me to film Kate's 2nd gig. That gig was even better ... well.. up until the sound guys cut her sound because they were over in time. The crowd cheered and cheered and finally Kate got to do one last song, but so great to see other people enjoy her music because she's [in the words of Teen Girl Squad], "So0o0o0o0o0o go0o0o0o0o0od!!"

Quick hugs all around and promises to hang out later and off to the Ryan Obermeyer photo shoot with Temposhark. That was fun too! I got to help out and you guys will see the fruits of my labor when the artwork comes out! Then off to the hotel to do my Temposhark/Ryan interview ..... in an elevator!! It was so much fun. The podcast (Episode 10) is up and you guys can check it out at www.TiFFcast.com - it's so fun!

Then off back into the festival for dinner with all the 'Sharkies and Ryan and cheese soup.... yes. Turns out Kate and Gotti were dead tired and didn't wake up from their nap until 1 in the morning! But still had so much fun and can't wait to see all of them again.

Two blogs in one day. Whatever did you do to be so lucky?

Actually, I'm on my lunch break at work right now and since I woke up extra early this morning and got all of my MySpazzing duties out of the way I've nothing better to do than to chat and fill out surveys. This one is from Erin.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The "Older People" Survey
(Meant to be completed by those out of high school)

Tired of all of those surveys made up by high school kids?
'Have you ever kissed someone?'
'Missed someone?'
'Told someone you loved them?'
'Drank alcohol?'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here are some questions for the people who are a little more mature... Okay, okay... OLDER FOLKS like us......
____________________________________________________
Cellphone. It's always different every month. I don't understand why.
2. Where's the best place to eat a romantic dinner?
Some place that denies food service to children.
3. Last time you puked from drinking?
Last summer after Allen's going away party. Sushi and shots of whatever Lundy threw under my face = not happy times.
4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on a bar.
I don't get drunk - contrary to what the people at the Pineapple place may think.
5. Name of your first grade teacher?
I can't for the life of me remember. Ms. Jet was my 2nd grade teacher. She ate all the time. I think she had a tapeworm.
6. What do you really want to be doing right now?
With my life or in this very moment? With my life = being an awesome designer (no, deciding where cubicles go does not count). In this very moment = Sushi Dan with Sam "Mmm sushi soup" Hale.
A rockstar.
11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you?
Paris with aslkdjfalskdjflasdk .
Ugh work tomorrow.
14. Favorite style of underwear?
