Yet more thanks to all who came out to our run of shows last week. Loved playing with Breton and Kelpe on Friday @ Kill Em All. Have a look see.
As a parting shot, before we disappear to write and record for a bit, we would love you to exercise your democratic right on our behalf. If you email gill.mills@nmeradio.co.uk, and mention our name, White Noise might get some further love from NME radio. We'd like that.
Thank you loves.

So first up, you've got to have a look at this AMAZING VIDEO, made for White Noise by our Aoife (McArdle) and our very own Andy (West). So many highlights of manmachines and their animal counterpoints. Today, my favourites are the mousetrap, fish gills and the custard pie. Always the custard pie.
More big news: Huw Stephens is giving White Noise our first play on RADIO 1 tonight! His show is on from 9-10. We'll be on or around a stage about then, so listen in, tell us how it sounds via the beeb.
Also, if you live in Sweden, we'll be on P3 radio tomorrow tonight. I did a very husky interview with the lovely Pelle Moeld a short time ago, sounding quite a lot like VIN DIESEL. Cider vinegar is the cure apparently, you pickle throat til you can't feel it anymore. Can't be good for the breath though.
I would thank everyone who came down to our wonderful single launch party at Pure Groove, but I did that one too many times last night and ended up sounding like a dick.
Can't wait for tonight. Say hello if you're coming. I'm the one with the big beard who talks like a gruff dick.

White Noise / Alouette is out today! I think the appropriate phrase is woop.
If you are compelled, there are many ways to express your love for this artefact:
You can LISTEN TO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN and attach it to a wonderful memory from your childhood, so that every time it comes on you start salivating and feel warm inside.
If none of those options are enough, and you need visual encouragement, hold on just a few seconds, as the video is very, very, very nearly done.
Belatedly, I stuck some photos up, so you can see what you missed if you weren't there for our Nabokov Arts Club secret spectacular with Tangled Feet. That really is a man matrixing it up the wall. They were taken with great skill by Ludovic des Cognets, so thanks travel from us to him.
I seem to be talking more and more on twitter, so JOIN US. My only worry is that when I actually meet people I have been tweeting with, we won't be able to talk sentences of more than about 20 words. Mind you, I don't manage more than a grunt at the best of times. And it would prevent monologues like this from forming, so maybe it's best to stick to the rules.

Maybe you've seen this already, but we've been out in INK
NME has written some nice words about us. And listened to our NEW SINGLE on their stereo. And the b-side. And liked them. If you like it too, you can buy it by clicking on the capitalist letters above.
Think I might have mentioned it, but we've got a few shows coming up. This time next week, we'll be taking over Pure Groove for our SINGLE LAUNCH. Come and join us.
The whole week is also some kind of Ale fest, so if you don't like us, you can always get tanked up, call us names, feel guilty, say sorry and buy us a pint of something cloudy.
Then the next day (Wednesday 18th) we're PLAYING WITH MARINA & THE DIAMONDS at Hoxton Bar & Grill. This will be especially special, as I've been listening to very small segments of Marina all week, finishing a remix that I reckon you might hear somewhere quite soon. It'll be very nice to get my nose out of a laptop and see the whole being in the right order. Wolf Gang too. Darn tootin'.
The ticket site does say that this is sold out, but if you really want to come, I reckon there's a way. Might be a few on the door, I'm told.
Thank you, you people.

Got to get the plug in first: WHITE NOISE 7" OUT 16/11! Get your pre-orders in here. Right, that's that done.
So now I can tell you.
Our secret show at Nabokov Arts club was a very special thing. We played half a gig, then Tangled Feet emerged from underground tunnels to join us in a SPECTACULAR performance. It's quite difficult to explain, but if you imagine doomed bankers running up walls, fighting then drowning in a flood apocalypse, then that was the first song. Then came unitards, glow-sticks, GIANT NEON HANDFANS and a hidden mob of dancers. Aside from those to the ever-legendary TF, huge thanks are due to Al, Simon & Will. There are pictures coming soon, I hope.
Then a couple of days later we did a session for Diesel-U-Music, anchored by my brother Rich. Pro of the pros. Very strange experience being interviewed on the radio by your brother, I can tell you. If you want to hear it and us and him, you can LISTEN AGAIN on Saturday 2-4 here.
More shows coming up:
17/11 Pure Groove Instore (FREE)
20/11 Kill Em All @ Queen Of Hoxton (free before 10)

LOADS OF EXCITING THINGS are happening.
The first is that we're going to put OUR FIRST SINGLE out! White Noise will be coming out on November 16th on Pure Groove. We are delighted about this and will bang on about it in the weeks to come.
To celebrate we are going to play some gigs.
First off, come to Hoxton Bar & KItchen on 8TH OCTOBER for an Oh, Inverted World occasion. Also playing are the stellar Still Flyin', So Say So & La Shark so it really should be a crackerjacker of a listening party. Send us your email and we'll stick you on the £3 cheapolist.
Then on 24TH OCTOBER we're playing at Nabokov Arts club. This will feature some truly EXTRAORDINARY SURPRISES, about which I am sworn to secrecy. Wave Machines are playing too and all manner of artform fun, the sum total of which will just about bust the blocks. I'll put a link up to billets and tiggits when there is one.
Then in November there are some more AMAZING SHOWS, of which I will divulge more later. Have just decided that divulge is definitely my favourite word of the day. And that overuse of capital letters is probably really annoying.
Finally, some dazzling remixes are in the pipeline, so it'd best for all of us if you keep your whole face to the ground.
Thank you.
Happy birthday Neville.

Have returned from learning how to be awecore in the Far West Sea to see that more NICE WORDS have been said:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just before leaving town to become a radsome Edwardian in Neoprene, I finished the first CLOCK OPERATION. Assuming I do another, this will prove to be a series of mesh-ups of people we love singing over Clock Opera instrumentals.
I'm going to try to imagine they actually drop by and sing in my room, when really it is theft. Constructive theft, though. I hope Mr Scott Walker won't mind featuring as the first patient. The track is called Twenty Once and is on the player now.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our NEXT GIG is in a few weeks:
Wednesday Sept 9th: We.Are.A.Fever @ Hoxton Pony
Come and see!
Will post details soon.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, another chance to hear the soundtrack I made (a couple of bits still on player) for TANGLED FEET's amazing show "Home". After wowing unsuspecting crowds in forests, shopping centres and car parks up and down the country, they're doing a run of shows in the slightly more conventional Southwark Playhouse from 7-12 September. Buy those hot billets now.

Huge thanks to everyone who came down to any/all of the last three shows. I was not wrong. It was a tasty sandwich. Jaegerbomb recovery aside, it was a constant stream of puregrade fun. More will be announced in the shortly future. I must be briefs because I am officially on holiday and writing undercover. Being caught would mean enormous trouble and blows to the body and face, so: Next week (12th) we're going to be Clash Magazine's online TRACK OF THE DAY! YES! This is better than damn fine cherry pie. Have a look on Wednesday . AND THEN: we got our first play on the radio the other night! XFM played Once And For All without any threat of blows to the body and face! It was Hot Track Of The Day or something like that. Undeniably, exceptionally exciting in any event. Feet on stairs. Quick. Click. Run. Dammit. Too slow. Caught. Ow. Clock Off

Look here! Our new best friends at Neon Gold have given us two amazing chances to show our skills.
Maybe if we hang round long enough it will rub off. Or maybe they'll just asking us to stop rubbing up against them.
In between these Neon Gold slices is a tasty YoYo spread filling. Mmmmm!
All three feature music and djs of high skill and together they are sure as eggs to equal a huge wad of fun, for which we are thankful and cannot wait. Please come.
Unrelatedly, but equally important, I met the worst burglar in the world the other night. When i/the big bloke upstairs confronted him, he said he was lost and waiting for a taxi. He was on our roof at the time. Then he tried to get in again. Then he sat there and waited for the rozzers to arrive. Maybe I had petrified him with my booming OIIIIIIWWWHHAAATTTAARRRYYYYOOUUUDDDOOIIINNNN??????s. Or maybe it was the bloke upstairs. I don't know. But he was waiting for a taxi whilst lost on a roof and I thought you ought to know this.
Thank you.
