It snowed all day yesterday!!! And 'The Boss' called and said not to even come in today, sweet victory! So I snapped all the kids, both 2 legged and 4, out playing in the snow!

If I believed in past lives, then I most definitely believe I used to live in the UK. Regardless I TOTALLY believe theres some British blood running through my veins, theres just no two ways around it!

I love all things British! I 'get' their sense of humor, sense of style, way of life, all that! And never has than been more apparent than the article that landed in my inbox today (yes I get daily emails from 3 different UK newspapers, you don't?)

Just that the article was printed tells you a couple things:

1. the Brits are way into stress relieving. Had a rough day mate? Lets go round to the pub and have a pint or two!

2. They are are obsessed with the parts of peoples lives that those people would really like to keep out of public knowledge, not to mention out of the the fucking newspaper! lol

3. If you act a fool in public, especially while drunk, your ass WILL be in the paper the next day if it makes a good story

4. The Brits tell it like it is

and finally...

5. The Brits just don't give a fuck. If it makes for good reading they don't care if they have to run nude pix or pix of people throwing up on NYE, its going in the daily paper

Its hard to think of a place to start, to describe the time Renee and I had at the NKOTB show! You really have to be from that era to understand I guess. They were my "Beatles", and I didn't realize until I was at the show how excited I really was to see them! It was INSANITY! Grown folks was losin their minds y'all! I've been to lots and lots of concerts, but I've never heard a crowd scream so loud in my life! For at least the first 3 songs if you weren't a fan you'd of had no idea what they were singing because the screaming was so loud!

Some fans dressed really retro, more retro than what we were actually wearing when they were originally popular in my opinion, but hey whatev! We saw lots of old merch, and I can't even begin to figure how much money was dropped on new merch that night!

Natasha Bedingfield opened up for them, and damn she can sing! I had a few of her songs before but now I have 2 cd's! Shes got some really awesome songs and her voice is amazing!

And then, what I had been waiting on, and was afraid wasn't gonna happen when NB came out first....LADY GAGA! Renee and I were in line at the concession stand and we heard noise from inside the arena...I really thought it was the New Kids bc I didn't figure NB would perform before Lady Gaga....but Renee, being the awesome friend she is, says go on and I'll get our drinks! I hand her my whole wallet and make a mad dash to our seats! And there she is in all her pleather glory, the fierceness that is Lady Gaga! AND the disco stick!! Lots of people had no clue who she was, well they do now! lol She was fiyah, and she killed it!! I wish she had performed longer, and I really wish I knew she performed later that night at a tiny club, but thats the breaks.

Last weekend Mom and I went to Harrahs in Cherokee to gamble! We got up there around 5ish and stayed overnight.

I started out on what I felt sure was gonna be a lucky machine

but quickly lost $20. Quickly being like 10 minutes! lolol I had forgotten basic math I guess. I was playing a nickel machine betting 45 CREDITS when I thought I was betting 45 cents, big difference! So by the time I made a few more pit stops at other machines and got back over to mom, who was seated at her fave machine, I had $30 left out of $100! She basically calls me a dumbass so I sit by her and start playing! lol

Of course I had to hit up the tourist shops because I am but all we ended up with was a kick ass and something for Courtney that I can't put a pic up of because its not her birthday yet!

. By the time we got back to Pigeon Forge we were hungry so we stopped at  right beside  to have lunch. The stampede had some pretty cool yard art!

We had to make a couple more pit stops before finally getting back home. Mom wanted to stop at  to get Kenlyn one of their big poofy dresses.  Thankfully mom decided it wasn't the right time of year for such a dress so she didn't get one. So we walked next door to  to get another . As we were checking out Mom and I grabbed our "one and only one" free sample of  then head back to the car. On our way I hear mom say so I turn around to discover she has pulled a tooth out of her dental work because of the taffy!!! I begin to    HYSTERICALLY because . my laughing continues for approximately 30 minutes through several text messages and very close to    moments. Well after Susies already fixed her problem.

So after all that we got home rather uneventfully, and we hadn't been home 30 minutes before we were ready to go again!

It was a great weekend, I love my Mama!

Let me first say that in another life I think I was british. No, not only british, Royalty! lol I looooove all things british, love their slang, and love carrying on with my horrible attempt at a british accent. There was a time when Kate, Carrie and I did british accents for months on end. I don't know what brought this on but it was heaps of fun! Speaking of, I need to call them, its been ages since I've talked to them!

Anywho, the 08-09 Premier League season has just started, and Manchester tied its first game, with my boy on the side lines. So I decided I needed to go ahead and get the 'fixtures' (their word for schedule, lovesit) up in a prominent place so Courtney and I can plan our trip to see them play!

It seems rather crazy for us to start planning a trip so soon after getting back from Vegas but 1. all the better plans we can make 2. all the more money we can save (and I will need a long time to save up for this one, and constant reminders from each and every one of you, ie pictures of CR sent to my page to remind me that I don't need that new bag/necklace/earrings/shoes/etc....because YOU'RE GOING TO SEE CRISTIANO PLAY DEB!! and 3. when Courtney and I take it transatlantic its gonna be quite the event!!!

So I've posted this blog as an incentive to start saving money, and so Courtney and I can decide which game we can go to and so on and so forth. Be prepared because I'll probably be blogging about this alot as plans come together. WE CANNOT FAIL AT THIS MISSION!! lol CR might not play for United another season, so we've got to see him play whilst he's playing for an English speaking team! Although I'm totally not opposed to go to Spain, we have 'connections' in the UK.......oh yeah....we're down like that!
