Party People,

We need people who want to be in our video that we are making for "all my friends are flaky." We can't have any ironically flaky people but if you really want to be in it and part of it, email us and we'll find a place for you.

First day of shooting is Saturday January 10th. We need about 15 select people on this day. We'll supply food, beverages, coffee etc. It's going down in a studio in Irvine. We'll have a shuttle bus for those long beach locals.

It's going to be a really fun video shoot. Hit us up!

Peace, 3rd Alley

So, we finished shoot the video on Sunday and all I can say is that everyone that participated was everything I could've asked for and then some. 2 days of shooting and everyone was extraordinary! Thank you everyone who participated! It's being edited right now and hopefully sooner than later it will be done and ready for it's premiere.  It was a REAL party so little acting was needed. VPI was great for understanding that  ruckus was inevitable.

Our friend Jessica took some pics from part of the shoot which you can see

YO, YO, YO,

So our first week of the tour is now history and we are heading to Seattle tonight!

here's a recap of what's been happening (we'll be adding pictures, videos and shtuff periodically). Aight, so . .

Berkeley, CA - Hell yeah, it was a wednesday night and the first night of the tour. We got there and after getting lost in Oakland and a few crack rips later we found the club in Berk. There was a great crowd and a great vibe. Didn't know what to expect, but it really was cool. We are tallying who the MVP is going to be for the tour. This night, Elrod for sure one with a clutch play of dropping Andre's bubbler on the hotel parking lot.

Todd - 1

Bakersfield, CA - There is something about Bakersfield, for some reason, it's always so much fun? We had some surprise visitors from back home, Zack's girlfriend and Ruth and of course all of the Bako party regulars are hella sweet. Tee and Dave as usual gave great hospitality. I think it was 5 in the morning and everyone was still partying and singing at the top of their lungs. This was the first night of really hanging out with the bad seeds, matt and zack played guitar and had some josh mixed in there causing. Yeah, we were raging!

Todd once again won MVP this night by ending the night by drinking from a generic Vodka plastic handle bottle and smoking a cigarette in Tee and Dave's kitchen and not realizing it. one of those, "you had to be there."

Todd - 1 (2 nights in a row)

Modesto, CA

YEAH WE SUCK AT KEEPING UP WITH THIS BLOG, SORRY, THE TOUR WAS FUCKING AMAZING! THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT TO SHOWS AND FED US, HOUSED US OR JUST PLAIN MADE OUR TOUR KILLER. THANKS AND WE'LL SEE YOU AGAIN!

We are planning our summer '08 tour and want to know where we should go? We have it pretty much planned out already, but if you think we should come to your town, hit us up! Let us know.

We'll be sporting our new CD and a new live show! Josh Fischel will be coming with us for a couple of weeks, so Bargain Music fans speak up too.

If you're a club that would like to book us, or a band that would like to do some shows, and/or just a music fan and can help out in anyway, hit us up!

Let's party!

Update 5/2/08

So it looks like we are embarking out on June 9th for 62 days! We'll be going coast to coast with a twist of Canada. Aside to Josh, we'll be doing most of the western states with Tomorrow's Bad Seeds, then for the second half on the Eastern states will be touring with some other bands to remain nameless till confirmed.

We'll have the dates up very soon and a lot of your requests will have been fulfilled!

So we’re a few days into this tour, fresno was cool, we played with our friends " More than Without", shout out to my man Dewy there. We got a hotel room after the show and took full advantage of all the beer the club gave us to party on. Cotati on friday was rad, we played with our good friends "Pion 2 Zion" which we have a few more shows with. Eric from the band got arrested for having a switch blade knife, they didn’t even care about the weed he was smoking, just the knife but luckly he is out now, currently we have 2 days off and we’re just partyin’ at the "pion 2 zion" guys house, thanx danny. hopefully we want piss off "the boss", so we also have a brand new pimp ass van and a g.p.s. system named "fish lips", we are stoked........more to come, todd

We're looking for some interns

Yo Guys and Gals,

3rd Alley is getting ready to come to a dive bar near you. I'm in the process of booking some regional tours for the guys and I need a little help. There are a couple of different areas in which you can contribute.

1. Street Team Coordinator

I'm looking for a dedicated individual who is knowledgeable in HTML to help develop a street team. The responsibilities would include gathering information about key friends around the country to help spread 3rd Alleys Music. Other responsibilities would include setting up a system for postering and a help in updating the myspace.

2. Booking Assistant

I need someone to assist me in researching venues and bands that we can play around the country. This person would be responsible for sending out press packets as well as help in routing tours.

Both of the above positions require special qualities. You must be self motivated and proactive. You must be a problem solver and dependable. You must have a phone and a computer with internet access (I know, but it has to be said). This is an internship, not a paid position. We are looking for someone to grow with the band and possibly in the future turn it into a paying position.

Please send all inquiries to me at Ron@3rdAlley.com. Include some personal information about yourself (name, age, location, education, work experience, ect) along with any ideas you might have. Location is not important as this is going to be done at home. I will train ya if you don't have experience. The important part is that you are well spoken and willing to work!

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from ya.

I'm in Portland right now but in 2 days will be in China for 3 weeks. You ask, why?
To go to another planet, it's gonna be crazy, inspiring, scary, intimidating, fun and just an experience I never thought I'd have. The vaccinations are a little out of control, I've gotten Hep A and B, Malaria, Tetanus, Typhoid Fever and unnamable ones. I'd make a terrible junky.

So, if you don't hear from me for a month, you'll understand why, their keyboards i'm sure are unusable for a round eye like myself. However, Joe Mamma, Todd, and Ron will be taking care of business for the 3rd Alley stuff. Hit them up and tell them to hurry and get the CD done!!

Let's see, I know we got a tour when I get back being set up at this very moment. So check dates on the 3rd Alley page. Tell Ron to book us where you want us. We'll get there soon enough.

Without further ado, Ciao!

Your amigo fiel, Zack

We appreciate your patience as we work hard on making our new album. Many people ask, "when?" and we say, "soon." So, to you, we say thanks!

If you send us your mailing address . . .

we'll send you out some of the brand spankin' new 3rd Alley stickers, which is the first in a series in celebration of our new record "Shiny Shady People" or "evil lurks" due out Spring '08.
Photobucket

FYI, the stickers will be sent out by mid Jan. so if you've already sent us your addy no need to do so again.

With Zack going on a 3 week vacation to China to explore whateva, we are delayed a little on the release of the album. we want to make sure it's right when it's right.

May all be well and belly's be full.
