Hello folks!
Just got wind of some works by friend and fellow Dark Moon Press writer, Michelle Belanger. I was lucky enough to read these a few years ago and can't recommend them enough. This is a post the author made:

I made this announcement on my Twitter, but it really bears repeating here in a post all its own. I've had a lot of non-fiction books published in the past few years, but my first love is still fiction -- it's just much, much harder to get that published (at least, that's how it been for me).

So, given that difficulty, it is with great pleasure that I announce the release of two books. The first is an anthology of vampire erotica. It includes my short story "Wicked Kisses." (The name will be familiar -- the story was written as the title story of a collection of erotica I've self-published, Wicked Kisses, but then was not included in the final cut).

The anthology is from Cleis Press. It's entitled The Sweetest Kiss and it's shipping from Amazon right now.

And then, after what seems like an eternity, I finally, FINALLY can announce that my first full-length novel, This Heart of Flame, is live and shipping from StoneGarden Press, also on Amazon.

To give you a taste of what it's about, think of all those tales where nefarious magicians summon spirits from the otherworld, seeking power or knowledge or sex. Now imagine what it would be like to be the spirit thus summoned -- called into an earthly existence to sate the hungers of another, with no knowledge of what this world is really like. And eventually, you get away. As a spirit made flesh, you look human on the outside, but you experience everything very differently. And you find yourself, an incubus driven to feed on the passions of others, in Victorian England, where passion is forbidden in nearly all of its forms.

And there are people who know what you are. And they are out to destroy you ...

That is the world of my beloved demon Matthew. And if you enjoy paranormal thrillers with a sexy element (and you're not squeamish about boys liking other boys) then this is a book I think you'll enjoy.

The cover art was provided by the incomparable James L. Grant, whose own talesof supernatural horror and suspense I also highly recommend.

Well, the day started out great. Perfectly clear and not too hot, van running fine and we were on the road to my lecture in Columbus Ohio. About a hundred miles into the state we pull into a rest stop after hearing a noise under the hood and yep, the serpentine belt slipped off and a hose broke. As chance would have it, a truck driver was kind enough to get us going again and even gave us his long wrench in case it slipped again.

A little later, just an hour into the state or so, still making good time, just off 33 and 385 we felt something not right and were over heating. Pulling into the lot of Dad’s Drive In, we popped the hood and Starr looked under the hood to discover the belt not only slipped off, but strands of it wound around a pulley! To make matters worse, our friend Mora couldn’t be reached and then our cell phones lost all signal. Well the dinner owner took pity on us and let me call my PR/ Sales manager to find out the companies AAA wouldn’t tow us. So, hoping into his black convertible Mitsubishi Spider (a beauty of a sports car) he drove over a hundred miles with new belt in hand and met up with us. By this time we were five hours wasted just 8 miles from Wapakoneta and being far past the meeting decided to head home.

So terribly sorry to all the good folks who showed up for all the speakers at the Lammas celebration I do hope I can attend again so time in the future when the cars Gods smile on us!
