Congratulations to Miss Kalani Kokonuts this year's winner - but this title of Queen of Burlesque has nothing to do with the legacy of Miss Exotic World and is void of any historical value.  Complain NOW to bring back the only true signature title of the most authentic competition of it's kind. . . ever.  Miss Exotic World forever - give the winner her true title and place her in the stars with winners to come and long gone.  I hate it.  There are thousands of Queens of Burlesque - but there can only be ONE miss exotic world - that's why these girls go out of their minds to compete - to be part of the history and legacy of Dixie Evans.  They could stay home and call themselves the queen of burlesque, but only their peers can judge them Miss Exotic World.  HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?  GROSS!

Ok, so I think I've noticed a trend in San Francisco and am curious to find out if I'm crazy or if this is really happening so - keep an eye out for yawners.  I just feel like everytime I turn around I see someone's back molars as they unapologeticly yawn with a huge wide open mouth without any impulse, or training to cover up that suckerfish hole. Sometimes I've even just stared at a person and met them eye to eye after they yawn, and, nothing.  Has anyone else noticed this lapse in common manners?  Can you let me know?

Where the HELL is gay hollywood? I mean, this SHIT is going down in California? Where is Ellen DeGeneres? Where is fucking Lance Bass? Where is Melissa Etheredge? Where is Oprahs damn pet Nate Berkus? Sandra Bernhardt??? etc???? Where is gay industry? Sick and tired of hearing how these people lost their friends to AIDS - and they don't step up for this. WHERE ARE THE GAY CIVIL RIGHTS LEADERS? AND WHY HAVEN'T WE HEARD FROM THEM? why are all these normal people discussing this. Where is Harvey Firestein?

The truth about Proposition 8 is not about what happens to me, my contemporaries or anyone who got "married" within the last 6 months. Statistically speaking, For every 10 people who voted to promote this aberration of human kindness and society, 1 will be the parent of gay child. 1 in 10 of these people will have a trembling young person come out to them. In the best case scenario - they will have to explain how their children have been denied this most basic standing and privilege in society. These people assume, as my parents did, that their children will be heterosexual and 1 in 10 of them will be wrong. 1 in 10 of them will realize that they helped perpetuate the marginalization and oppression of their own children. 1 in 10 will have a lot of explaining and apologizing to do. Gay people have to be born to other people, and as we embark on the optimistic journey of our fabulous new president, it is a sad, disgraceful shame that parents are laying this antiquated tender trap for their children. The truth of Proposition 8 is that gay people have been told they are not allowed to move forward like everyone else.
