I just wanted to thank everyone for bringing their hairy asses to Southside Johnny's on March 13/14 and making the debut of the NEW Ginger's Hotter a highly enjoyable one... It's been a few years since I've fronted a group of musicians that frequently play out, and it's a pleasurable lubed prostate massage playing in front of Eric, Jim, Jeff, Steve and WITH Teletha...
Friday was a nice dress rehearsal for Saturday at Johnny's, which out of hundreds of gigs, I can safely say was in the top 5 i've ever played. Sure I had a HORSE in my throat, yeah it was scratchy at times, but that's rock and roll... Whoever said it was suppsoed to be perfect was DUMB and LAME!
Also thanks to The staff and crew at Johnny's, they were very hospitable, professional, and complimentary. I hope we did them some good business over the weekend. It was nice to see the same crowd at the beginning and the end of the night. I was told that there would be several ups and downs throughout the night, but on Saturday we kept them stage front and that makes me think you liked us.. you really liked us!
Our next gigs are on April 17/18 at The Ritz, and from what i've seen with bands playing there in the past, I'm looking forward to taking in that rowdy crowd. We'll be working on some new stuff between now and then, maybe an original or two, certainly dropping the excess weight left over from the Previous Hotter set list, and replacing it with new hits from the stars!
For those of you looking for something a little bit different, Outside of GH, I run Asylum Championship Wrestling. ACW is a Independent Pro wrestling Promotion based here in Colorado Springs emanting monthly from the Phil Long Expo Center near Chapel Hills Mall. The next event on Saturday April 4th (Gates Open at 6PM) is a special one because it's out 100th event over the past seven years. Yes I am a professional wrestler... It's fun shit people... even the Ginger's Hotter guys had fun, and they are in NO WAY pro wrestling fans... I tell you what, reply here and I'll save you $15 and secure you a spot on the guest list... Deal?
The only thing I hate about this band it the Initials... I am ALSO seeding a television pilot called GHOST FIGTERS... A 40% Paranormal Investigation unit, 60% Comedy program, which is being filmed, edited, packaged and piloted for Comedy Central and other stations late in the summer. Now with all my projects I INITIAL them to keep them organized. Ginger's Hotter is "GH", Ghost Fighter's is "GF"... But there's a show on The Sci-Fi Network called GHOST HUNTERS which I enjoy... GH...GH...GF... Shit! I have so many things in wrong places right now because of this... It seems like a small deal, but FUCK!
I'd like to publicly thank the four or five women in the front of the stage at Johny's on saturday for rubbing my legs, chest, penis, and belly... Also to one particular girl for deep throating my fingers while I'm singing... Nice to feel like a rock star again, even if for a few hours... Thankfully I had Steven on stage to my right with me, a quick glance in his direction retracted any erection issues... hee hee...
The ripping my shirt open and exposing my power belly wasn't too cool... remember an UNDER SHIRT from here on out... Thanks to my Hetero Life Mate Zane Morris for being quick on the draw in true roadie fashion and buttoning me back up... Great picture on here of that... I know some of the other women in the crowd were disgusted by the actions of the front liners, but fuck it, whatever it takes to entertain... If they want a chubby gut in their faces, they can have it... I'm single, I'm allowed... I asked my cat, and she didn't mind... It's all good...
OK.. So onto The Ritz it is.. Then more gigs at the Ritz and other places.. Then The Thirsty Parrot.. then the MOON!
Thanks to former singer Keith for calling in and wishing us luck... that was cool of him... and thanks for having a real job and quitting GH, allowing Steven and I to creep in and steal your spot... Feel free to stop in and sing a song or two some day..

GH will once again be heating up stages all around Colorado Springs sooner than later with new vocalist Brandon Bishop and guitarist Steven Azar... Look for a drastically new sound that will keep current Ginger fans happy, and bring in new curious onlookers...
We have dates in ink at Southside Johnny's in March, as well as future bookings with The Ritz and Thirsty Parrot just around the corner...  We won't be hard to find...

Well, at least I'm in Deutchland...  It's Keith, just sending a "HELL YEAH" one last time before I make it to the sandbox for the rest of the summer.  I'll be checking in periodically while I'm gone, but will have limited access to MySpace due to the standard security restrictions.  Yep, The Man's keepin' me down, Hotter Pals.  At any rate, I figured I'd take the free wirelss opportunity during my stopover in the Fatherland to wish all of you a great summer, and let you know that we're looking forward to seeing all of you fine people in the Fall! 

I'm sure the rest of the GH gang will keep you updated in the next few weeks until we can blow the roof off our favorite Tejon St establishments again, so until the next update, take care of each other.  And don't forget to stop by the MySpace page and let us know how YOUR summer's going!

Hey there, Hotter Pals!

Just wanted to wish everyone a great summer from all of us at GH.  Sorry we won't be playing until September, but that's all my fault.  I'll be visiting the Middle East for a couple months, flying the mighty Air Force C-21A Lear Jet for the cool, pleasant months of July and August.  Crap...

We'll miss all of our loyal partyers, and we look forward to seeing you in the fall!  Until then, be safe and take care of each other.  Check back on MySpace every couple weeks for updates on shows this fall, and my adventures in the Persian Gulf.  Have a great summer!

We had a blast this past weekend at the Ritz--thanks to all who came to the shows.  We'd especially like to thank our MySpace pal Brandy for choosing the Ritz to celebrate her birthday with some of our favorite people- Sabrina, Callie, Heather, Christina, and assorted other fine ladies and their friends- and for making the dance floor the place to be!

Holy hell, what can we say? 

Absolutely awesome Saturday, and that's thanks to all of YOU.  Special thanks goes to our buds Rachel and Matt who braved the weather on Friday night (not to mention some "Technical Difficulties"), and then showed up SATURDAY TOO!  Damn cool.  Just DAMN cool. 

Also, a special "Hell YEAH" to our new pals Sabrina, Becky, Callie, and their friends.  You girls make the dance floor look like it oughtta!  No need for fog machines with that much smoke in the room...  Same goes for all our hot dancin' pals-- you have NO idea how much energy you add to the show.  After all, it's all of our weekend, right?  So we're a team. 

We got the Rum Bay thang going on in a couple weeks, so we're looking forward to that.  They've apparently just finished renovating Fat City Blues, so it'll be really cool to help 'em break it in!  And please, PLEASE don't forget about St. Paddy's Day at the Ritz.  That should be one of the craziest nights C Springs has seen since local women started showing ankle back in the pioneer days. 

Keep an eye on the website for new pics.  You can all be proud of yourselves because not only did you make Sat night ROCK, but it happened to be the night we hired our pal, Charlotte Geary, to take some professional photos.  If anyone can make jackasses like us look halfway decent, it's Charlotte.  So keep an eye out.  Who knows?  You might even see YOU in a shot or two!

Howdy, Ginger's Pals!

We had an absolute blast this weekend at the Ritz!  Thanks so much to all of you who hung out with us and warmed up an otherwise cold weekend.  There's nothing like a party crowd to make a band feel loved, and we were definitely feelin' it Fri and Sat night!  I dunno 'bout you, but I thought Jim, Jeff, Eric and Teletha were KILLER this weekend.  Mostly, I'm just trying to keep up with the rest of 'em!
