Lee contributed vocals to five songs ('A Small Adventure,' 'La Pluie,' 'Anthemoessa,' 'Elegy,' and backing vocals on 'Treasure') on Amethystium's newest release, Isabliss. Released on Neurodisc Records, Isabliss is the 4th Amethystium studio album. Neurodisc Records describes the album as, "...shrouded in a strangely beautiful ambiance of something familiar yet unbounded to earthly delights. Billboard charting artist, Amethystium, skirts easy categorization with a blend of neo-classical, world, gothic, chillout and ambient grooves."

You can listen to 'La Pluie' and 'Treasure' at: http://www.myspace.com/amethystium

Animus Mundi continue to work on our album to be released in the next year.

A new demo of a song called White Lilies added to the player. This is actually a "re-envisioning" of an old Animus Mundi song from almost 10 years ago with totally new production and recordings. A better quality will be available for streaming at our website soon.

Also posted some photographs of a recent promotional photoshoot.

Despite a few setback and delays the Animus Mundi premiere is scheduled for a 2007 release, most likely summer. The tracklist and album title has more or less been chosen. Please check back for more information as the website will now be updated more regularly.

Animus Mundi contributed vocals to the new song, Anthemoessa, off of Amethystium's new retrospective CD, Emblem (Selected Pieces). Released Tuesday, October 10th, 2006, Emblem also includes the three tracks Lee Nisbet sang on from the album, Evermind: Arcus, Shadowlands and Fable. The album is available for purchase from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc. Visit http://www.myspace.com/amethystium to hear the new single, Anthemoessa.

Press Release: "Emblem (Selected Pieces) is a retrospective of, and more importantly a carefully chosen collection of Amethystium - aka Øystein Ramfjord's most meaningful and inspired moments from each record. Emblem (Selected Pieces) sheds light into the creation and inspiration behind the music from the mind of one of the genre's most prolific artists. This collection has been re-mastered and re-worked, giving you the opportunity to hear his music in a new light. There is also a brand new song, Anthemoessa, showcasing a new direction for Amethystium and featuring the vocal talent of Lee Nisbet. Amethystium is currently in the studio working on a new album as Emblem (Selected Pieces) closed this chapter of his musical discovery. Equal parts Gothic, Ambient, Moody, and Graceful. Amethystium remains a singular and unique musical vision with virtually no peers."

In other Amethystium news, after receiving numerous accolades and critical acclaim, the album Evermind has won the prize for "Best Ambient Album" at this year's NAR Lifestyle Music Awards. Evermind stayed on the Billboard new age chart for 22 consecutive weeks and also reached a peak position at 5.

We finally got a demo posted on our myspace page! The song is called The Devil and the Sparrow and will be featured on our upcoming album (to be announced). Due to size limitations the mp3 had to be encoded at a lower quality, which wouldn't be so bad if this myspace player didn't add further compression and aliasing. If you visit http://www.animusmundi.net you can download a better quality version.

Enjoy and thanks for listening!
