Check out my articles on Mental Health at examiner.com. Yep, I'm now a writer for that prestigious organization. How did that happen? Your guess is as good as mine. But I'm sure happy. Please check out my articles. Feel free to leave comments, letting us know your opinion. Thanks. Jer

Even though the work of rebuilding Mississippi after Katrina is far from done, the funding has dried up. My program is ending and the agency is packing up. So I'm moving back home to Quincy, IL. Am going to be a therapist at a mental health clinic (now that's a scary proposition). More info on my real blog.

Picked up my new puppy in NC over the weekend. Tuesday I close on my house. Wednesday the "stuff" from Milwaukee will be delivered. It will be great to move out of this RV and into my own home. Can't complain though. So many people here are still without homes after Katrina. The good part is that we're helping them rebuild. Feels good. Check out my real blog.

Yep, I got the job in Biloxi, MS. It is gorgeous here--well, if you don't count all the destroyed homes and businesses. There's still so much work to be done. My company does re-building/building of homes. We're a not-for-profit. Home office is in Texas, and we do disaster work in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. I'm the state coordinator for Mississippi. I absolutely love it here. Right now I'm living in an RV but will close on my house 4/10. Will pick up my yellow lab puppy over Easter weekend. So much going on. I've been recruited to be the State Director of Disaster Response for the state of Mississippi. It's with Lutheran Social Services of the South. Check out my real blog for details, and keep your fingers crossed.

I'm writing from Sanford, NC where I'll stay for a few months. My condo in Milwaukee still hasn't sold, and I'm getting a little anxious about that. But it's a nice place, reasonably priced so it should sell soon.

Am having fun with my son and d-i-l, and the drive down here, although long, was fun and absolutely beautiful. Even sat next to some porn stars at a Cracker Barrel.

The trip is detailed on my real blog.

I can't believe how quickly things are moving. It looks like I'll leave Milwaukee the first full week in November. Lots to do before then. Anyone want to buy a condo? Check out the rest of my boring doings on my real blog.

Like riding on a roller coaster, which I love. Selling the condo, hanging on by one financial thread. Hating it and loving it. Once the condo sells , I move to NC, and I start my new job, things will be better.

Here's my problem: how do you keep a place nice for home viewing while packing at the same time?

Check out my real blog.
