hmmm...it's been quite a while for us.quite a hiatus.we've just uploaded 2 songs.not to say that it's new.it's old songs but just that you guys out there hve never heard it before.the first song is informer's grudge.this song was supposed to be included in the disc:losure ep but somehow we're not satisfied with the whole song when we finished recording it.so this version of the song didn't have any vocals on it and it was an earlier recording prior to the one recorded at 101 studio.just thought that some people out there might want to know what we've been doing since we've gone mute for quite a while.haha...anyway..we're going to include informer's grudge in our next recording.with better quality and hopefully it will turn out good.

the other song is ho-ju.the demo version.it's just a rough recording that we did before finally re-arranging to the ep version.no vocals here too.maybe you guys out there wanna hear how it sounds like before.

anyway...some news,we'll be starting our recording for the third ep or album (we dunno which) in january 2009.it'll take a long time so we hope you guys will be patient.currently writing some new stuff.the third recording will have hopefully 10 songs.we've got 14 songs but we'll choose the best ten to include.some will include a remake of old songs.

so...thanks again for supporting us though we've been quite for most of this year.hope to see you guys at our shows in the future and continue to support our local acts.

dear friends, and to those who appreciate our music.thank you..that's the only way i can thanked you all..right now the band is in a very regretful state..almost paralyzed.we travel too fast, we're doomed..we're fucked up.

the good things is, the situation makes us start from zero again.and realising who we really are..which is why we dont want to rush things. it's tough shit, our last show was horrible. as being the founder, and behalf of Libretto i wana say sorry..

but expect something from us NEXT YEAR...its been traumatic.

talk about boring....anyways...we try so hard to update this blog but it seems that we just don't have the time to go online anymore.the guys are just bz with their jobs.i'm bz with my games.yes...we are getting lots of responsibility on our shoulders and making time for myspace updating and making music is a very difficult task.

by the way...right now,we're in the process of writing some new songs.me and reynold have just finished 1 song and that took nearly 2 months for it to be actually complete.even now we're still not satisfied with the arrangements.so maybe there'll be some minor changes to it.haven't got a title for it yet though or what it's gonna be about.so far,richie's been doing quite a good job on the drums for the new song.we've got about 3 or 4 new songs that need to be completed.only god knows when we'll be able to finish it.one thing's for sure,it's not like the 2nd EP where it's all easy to listen to.some might find the new songs weird or out of our genre but we want to try something different and we want to sound like our 1st EP.but you guys will still know that it's Libretto.

about recording...it's not gonna happen this year but maybe next year if we can complete some of the songs before that.it's been a quiet year for us.no invites to gigs but that's ok coz i don't think that any of us could make it since we're quite bz.

i guess that's about it for our news.i just hope that you guys out there would be a little patient with us coz we would love to make great music for you too.

hi everyone.....i kno it's been sooooo long since our last blog.thought i might just update.

as u guys have already kno,our 2nd Ep is out for sales.dunno how's the reception.hope it's good or even better than the 1st since we ourselves considered the 2nd Ep 'commercial' or a little soft for our post hardcore/post punk genre.well....it's certainly something different from our usual songwriting.but i guess it's still good for us.

the previous months have been great for us.we played at the croosborders.we'd like to thank wing meng of love me butch for the invite.we really were'nt expecting that especially knowing that lots of big bands had played at that event.and as u all kno,we're just a small band from sarawak.the bands that nite were great too.salute to giants must fall and throne away.they put one hell of a show.we could've played better but some of us were too intoxicated b4 the show if u kno wat i mean.hehe...anyway...we pulled it off.it's great to kno that we have fans in kl.this is why we are so enthusiastic in making great music just for our fans.though not many but we are content.

for now.....all the members are in different parts of malaysia due to job commitments.so....some updates....we are currently writing songs for the next recording.i dunno whether it'll be an EP or Album (which depends on our time and finance) but we'll let u guys kno.the new songs we are currently working on is different from the 2nd EP,a little bit like our 1st but with some improvements on song arrangements and more hardcore.like i've said...the next recording will bring libretto back to it's roots....post punk/post hardcore.it'll include some songs from the 1st EP with a little changes.

anyway...we hope we have entertained u all with our music.and thanks for supporting us again.u are the reason why we continue to make music.

well...it's been a while since the last entry.since we'll be coming out with new songs,we've figured we'd put the song 'handle this manually' available for download.it's not much but hey,it's better than nothing right?we're currently in the process of making more new songs.well...since everyone's not around it's better than doing nothing.anyway...happy listening.

wat a holiday.kinda quiet around here.just me,reynold and richie.gavin and hakim's gone to work and soon it'll be my time.nothing new so far.we're trying out some more new songs.that's crazy.we haven't even release the 2nd ep and we're already making new ones.well...idle hands are the devil's playground so instead of siiting our ass off and do nothing,it's better to make music rite?so....lots of people asked us when will our Ep be out....well...hate to disappoint most of you guys out there...it'll only be out somewhere around may or june due to some unforseen problems.still gotta smoothen out some things.well....we want to produce a better quality ep for u guys so we're putting our best effort.so anyway...we'll be looking around for gigs mid year.most probably in west malaysia.so if you feel like wanna invite us,do mail us.i guess that's all for now.gotta go.

phew....it was a really tiring weekend.we reached johor frm kuching around 10.30pm,took a 12.30am bus to kl,arrived at 5am,rest a while at hacienda studio(thanks to herri of bittersweet) then to 101 studio at 8am....did the recording till 7pm,played the bear with me gig at kl jamasia,finally got some rest at 3am.that's some crazy weekend.the response from the crowd at the gig was really unexpected.still it was a cool crowd.the bands were equally great as well.we just finished recording our EP.done with the mixing.can't wait to distribute it.so...the people who attended the gig that nite were the firdt to preview some of our new songs from the upcoming ep.lucky crowds.anyway..it's a hectic weekend.if not bcoz of those who were around to help us,we'd be in deep shit...our thanks goes to herri,pijie,amir,fizul,kazness and those who we forgot to mention or don't know ur names.(not to forget william who fills our hungry stomach) thanks a lot guys.hope to see more of you soon.
