Well IT finally came ..... It seems in typical New York State fashion they sent the E.M.T exams out to Arizona for grading .... like we don't have anyone in this state that can mark a test. So we have been waiting to hear how we did while the state packed up the test shipped them out by 20 mule train to arizona. Then the people in Arizona had to sharpen thier pencils and grade the test. finure out all the stuff they do with that and then send it back.. but becasue of the fact that now there wasn't as many mules left in Arizona they sent it back by a 10 mule train to New York.

     Now in New York we have a new state goverment so they are all trying to figure out how much they can get away with so they take thier time colating the results. After that they are sent to another department to be sent out.

   Ya can't make this crap up..... oh yea BTW I passed .... I don't have to do it again for three years

I can't belive that three years have past since I refreashed my EMT .... I am almost done with this one and boy I am glad .... this is my 5th refreasher course and last nite we tested out on our pratical skills. I was paid a great compliment ... one of the class members a firefighter from Ithaca said after I was done with my tramatic injury assesment that if she had her eyes closed it sounded like the training vidieo.... boy that made me feel good . Anyway I aced it now on to the state test which is always a bitch... but I will do ok... I hope LOL

Well I am home and recupperating from my stay in the hospoital. Been a bit tramatic for me but I am doing fine and will back at work soon .. I hope that this is the end of nonsense. I need to be positive and move foward with the rest of my life.

Well another day has gone by, we were bsy this mornign and got quiet this aftrnoon. oh well. just sittinng hee chillin before bed. working a double tomorrow and just want to get some sleep but am too wond up . just I'll go surfing the web to see if zI can relax. hope all is well outhtre in computer land

Well another year has gone by and election were held last night. ( for my fire department) and I am Chaplin again. I think I get this job because the guys know I am there to help them in any way I can. Not only on the fire ground but in thier lives as well. We really have a great group of guys and I try hard to show them thru my example how to be at peace with yourself and God , however you preceve Him to be. I always remember a saying I heard once, it is a small prayer but here it goes

      God please let my example far exceed the authority of my rank.

Well at work again, glad I wasnt on last night as they had a full code and were unable to succesfully revive the person. It is too bad but I do belive that most of what we do is just an extention of Gods will. If He wants ther person to survie he will , If the person isn't meant to live then no matter what we do , no matter how great the job the person will pass unto His hands. So far the whole county has been quiet and I hope it stays that way. My daughter has been home from Calif. and it has been great I do miss her and she has been fun to have around. I would never tell her but I do miss her terrible. But my youngest daughtre keeps me going full bore most of the time so it is ok. I don't know what I will do when she goes away to school this summer. Oh well it is time I went back to the real world of work and stop my belly aching ... see ya all soon in the woods

ok The first real day of the New Year. I am all set to face the challenges that will come to me . I am blessed with a wonderful family and a good feeling about myself.. One bad thing my dog Rocky a fifteen year old mixed lab and englich bulldogge left. He and the other dogs got out and while the other two came back he didn't. I am very upset . He is or maybe was a great dog loving and very playful. He was deaf and we think he was starting to have problems seeing. I am really afraid I failed him. I searched for hours and now days with no luck in finding him . I just hope he is alright or if it was his time to go he went peacefully . Well I will catch you soon ... in the woods
