December edition on the Latvian music magazine "Muzikas Saule" ("Music Sun") contains STandART album reviews by 3 journalists: Dace Volfa, Janis Stundins, Toms Treibergs.
As the reviews are only in Latvian and only in paper format, here is a translation of some excerpts:

"When in 2002 this band announced themselves with a very weird video and an unusal sound, there were only 2 chances left: either it was just another try to patch up the holes in Latvian music gobelin, which is usually not a long-term process, or these fashionably dressed young men will become respectable members of the marginal, yet very necessary underground music environment. Latvian version of the song "Autumn News" - "Rudens Veestis" still keeps being successful in various charts in Latvia.

"Rudens Vestis" is no.1 already for 2 weeks in Radio NABA Top10 LV - the biggest Latvian alternative radio station's Latvian Artists chart.

"Rudens Vestis", among 40 other candidates, also entered Latvian Artists Top5  "Reaktors" at Kurzemes Radio (this week no.4, highest position no.2), as well as got through the evaluation stage of the new Latvian songs at Latvian Radio (Latviesu Radio) thus having beng included into the main rotation.

Latvian "Autumn News" is still climbing in Latvian Music chart (the summary of the charts in Latvia for Latvian artists), on its 3rd week reaching the position no.12

Finally, "Rudens Vestis" has also entered Latvian Airplay Chart, currently being the 41st most played track in Latvia (including international artists).

The new STandART single "I’m the Voices" / "Autumn News" will be released digitally on October 19. It will be available on the Internet as a free download.

The release date of the new STandART album "Autumn News" is November 6. The album release party will take place on the same day @ club "Barons", Riga. Some more live dates are confirmed now and some are still to follow.

At last, this week we start the official studio recordingsof our second album at Sigulda Sound Studio, in collaboration with producer Kaspars Tobis(from Latvian band "Dzelzs Vilks") again and with an assistance of Polish musician Hien.

STandART MCD "Corrosion" has been reviewed on the latest edition of Italian music magazine "Rock Hard Italia" (April 2007). Rating 8/10. Review by Dj Chemnitz.

"(..)The sound of this quartet could be defined cold synth-pop, an example of gaunt and cold electronic that however supports really charming melodies as the open track 'Corrosion' (present also in Latvian version), an excellent homemade
episode that can be tasted also as videoclip (very nice, indeed). STandART are based on Depeche Mode's first darkest period ("A Broken Frame"), on De/Vision and on Camouflage, adding to all a touch of freezing detachment (as in the superb and very dark 'Aslan's Song). The album offers also many remixes from Polish, Belgian and German underground artists, but on th whole what hits most of all is the production, pretty much perfect, that make this group really professional and competitive. Crystal Music.

STandART - Corrosion 7/10
Nice synthpop delivered from the group STandART from Latvia. If you are part of Depeche Mode´s big fanbase you will notice, how much the singer from STandART reminds of a young Dave Gahan with his clean dark voice. And as a Depeche fan it´s possible that you will also like their music. You see the songs are easy to listen to with good choruses and nice melodies. This together with a kind of moodiness in the production. One thing though that I noticed while listening is the song "Energia". It´s a song that shows the bands will to experiment with their music. But mostly this EP is about syntpop. The analog synths together with drummachines dominate, and that gives STandART a very warm sound where the guitars melt into the sound great. Naturally the remixers is more divided in their musical approach, but what to prefer is up to the listener to decide.
