been busy, busy boys, but we've managed to book a show this THURSDAY, february
12th, at the BEACHLAND TAVERN. (address is 15711 waterloo rd.  cleveland, oh.

we'll
be playing after Two EB and Anthony James, so we should start at or around 11pm.
tickets are just FIVE AMERICAN DOLLARS, and of course we'll have a very special,
very romantic PERSONAL TREASURE GIVEAWAY.

return of simple is playing a very lovely christmas
show next TUESDAY, december 23rd, 2008, at the GROG SHOP in cleveland
hts, oh.

doors are at 8pm, i believe, and tickets are only SIX
(6!!!) american dollars. we are headlining, so don't expect us to play
prior to 11pm.

it should be a super fun show, we have so many
new songs that we love to play, with our tremendous new drummer, and of
course we have our TOTALLY AWESOME PERSONAL CHRISTMASTIME TREASURE

the past few
shows have been a real joy to play, and we are very excited to play

hey everybody, this is gary with a long overdue update about the band. first, we'd like to officially announce that, after an exhaustive search, we are incredibly fortunate to have a tremendous new drummer, one mr. justin hofmann. justin is talented beyond measure, really fits well with rob and i as musicians, and most importantly, he's a wonderful guy. so please, welcome him into the fold!

and because we've got justin, we've got shows for the first time since early summer. four excellent ones, if i may say so. here's the rundown (all times SET times, not door):

Dear everyone,

You probably read our last email/bulletin/blog stating that we have broken up. I started to write to you all about what happened without being too long winded but decided that it doesn't make sense without details, but then the details make things seem worse than they really are. I also don't want to get too personal. So I'll get right to the point.

Return of Simple is still a band and didn't break up!

OK, we broke up for maybe two days, but have since gotten back together. Even better, we've started to write some new songs and book some more shows. Even better than that, we've been trying to iron out details to get an album done by the end of the year.
