Black Sedan Band played Steels for the first time last night. Not a particularly great turn out, people seem to be a bit apprehensive to come along and see new bands but those that were there really enjoyed a great set from this band of experienced musicians. Satriani, Purple, Lizzy, Free, Priest, AC/DC were amongst the covers they played plus a few of their own songs which were excellent. The vocals supplied by Phil were spot on, his voice has a tremendous range and the backing by brother Paul on guitar was second to none. The rest of the band, Steve on guitar and keyboards, Gazza on bass and Nicky on drums were also faultless and I would recommend getting yourselves along to see this band if they are playing anywhere near you.
