Stride will be on CBC Radio today on Mainstreet with Matt Rainnie from 4-6pm.  We will be interviewed by the Mainstreet host in promotion for the 2007 PEI Music Awards taking place this Saturday, November 10th at the Confederation Center.  Tune in if you can!!

Some fantastic news on the Stride front!  We have been nominated for two PEI Music Awards!!  The award show is on Saturday, November 10th at the Confederation Center.  We were nominated for Alternative Rock Group of the year and Weekend Warrior.  Now while Alternative Rock is voted on by members of Music PEI, the Weekend Warrior award may be voted on by the general public.  Voting will take place, in cooperation with title sponsors K-Rock 105.5 and Ocean 100, via their websites www.krock1055.com and www.ocean100.com. The voting has not started for this just yet but should be up in the next couple of days and we'll keep all of you posted.  Thanks so much!

Great news!!  Stride has been awarded a spot in the Music PEI Showcase taking place at Hunter's Alehouse on Friday, November 9th.  We will be playing this show with Tim Chaisson and Nathan Wiley!!  This is a great show for us to get as attendance should be quite huge as well as the fact that we are big Tim Chaisson and Nathan Wiley fans to boot!!  Hope to see some of you there!

Hey everybody!!

In the coming weeks, Stride will be featured on a moncton radio station, K94.5 on the Maritime Disc Drive.  Hosted by the incredible Krysta J, this show is on a Sunday night, and will feature Maritime bands.  Anyways, she liked our stuff and will be doing an interview with Stride guitarist, Ashley Gorman and playing 3 of our songs.  We'll keep you posted on what date this will be...stay tuned!!!

This Tuesday, March 6th, Chmm 103.5 and the Darkest Jam Hour Segment will be playing a song of ours, The Man in the Green Jacket.  This is a radio station in northern British Columbia and the show is hosted by the lovely Alicia Borenheim.  So if anyone wants to tune in, it will air at 8pm Pacific Time live on www.chmm.ca
