I got a new job where I get to work from home, work half as much, work half as hard and make more money than the last job. I know, it rules.

I've been making beadsprites non-stop, including 3D renditions of VG Consoles - if you haven't already, check em out.

I just uploaded three new tracks, all previews for a new album I'm working on. This will be my first official album for sale.

The album will be entitled 'Tension' and feature various classic NES games, arranged for an orchestra, and I'll be using none other than Garritan Personal Orchestra to do this. I plan to release the album by early August, just in time for 32-Bit Genocide.

I've already designed the album cover. Tell me what you think.

Anyone who has a suggestion/request for a track for me to arrange, shout it out. I will be tallying votes in the form of comments, messages and calls as they come in, and by the end of these next two weeks, I will count up the votes. The top picks will be arranged for the album.

Once I finish production, I will be selling hard copies through a site like CD Baby and most likely tracks as well, through iTunes.

First off, if anyone has ANY pics from 16-Bit Gen, let me kno or send a link.

Okay, here are a few personal highlights from the ever-so-successful event known as 16-Bit Genocide:

MUSIC - Unfortunately, I was in the gallery selling my perler bead sprite pieces for most of the time (except when Powerglove played Storm Eagle and i ran up on stage with my SE perler-sprite...that was cool). However, I could clearly hear all of the bands from outside the concert and around the corner where the gallery was located. Entertainment System played a Kid Icarus / Metroid highbrid I enjoyed especially.

ART - My bro, Jude Buffum, and 8 Bit Artist hung ridiculous numbers of pieces around the entire space and each had significant table space. From what I hear they sold a good amount of stuff. As a sort of last minute replacement for both Fizzman and Slip, I jumped in and sold some new pieces I've been working on, combining perler beads and prints.

Now, I thought these creations of mine were neat and I thought I'd sell a few...I had no idea. Of the 60+ pieces I brought, around 30 were sold, 20 were consigned by East Coast Earthquake and the rest will be available online soon enough (I'll post those details later).

Here is the official list, by series, in alphabetical order:

If you were at 16 Bit Gen and saw any that you wanted and just happen to be kicking yourself in the balls cause you didnt get one, you can message me about purchasing one and we can work something out. Otherwise, within the next month I will be creating limited editions...possibly 25 of each character or set, depending on how well they sell at ECEQ. I will post a link to the site or post the pictures of the LE's in my Myspace photos.

If you would like to commission a particular character, message me.

In closing, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO BOUGHT A PIECE.

...there was Atari...then there was Nintendo.  Most of the music was composed of two square leads, one triangle lead and a few drum sounds.  And yet, the majority of tracks were so well orchestrated.  It is the intention of this project to stay true to these compositions.

And...its time for some nostalgia.
