Dont be alarmed.

We are taking a huge directional change which allow us to be able to execute MUCH more than we have been before.

Were talking new albums all the time. ALOT more shows. MORE videos, MUSIC videos, Festivals, Touring.

Its a period of "growing up" for us. I think what you will find once we return is a more rockin', more creepy, more true, Mickey Biscuittt.

They material we have been working on now....nothing we have done before comes close to it.

This summer we are of course on "break", but we are Recording a Full Length Album FULL of new music. We believe that this will be our strongest album ever.

Of course we still will be releasing the studio album we did in Nashville
"Rapid Fire Music" - but wont have a CD release untill the "new" album
comes out.

Also, We wanna thank Lawrence L for being a badass lead guitar player for us for the past year or 2. Unfortunetly distance wont allow it to work out anymore.

Here is the official Mickey Biscuittt Line up fea. new members/instruments:

Daniel "Dirtybath" Grimmett - Guitar/ Lead Vocals / Concertina (squeezbox)
Kyle Jones - Bass/ Synth/ Bass-vocoder
Austin Akers - Sax/ Keyboards/ piano/ Theremin
Butter - Violin/ spec. percussion/ lead vocals
Jon Davis - Drums / back vocals/ mandolin

and we would like to introduce our new Guitar player..
His Name is : JON ALEMON (3-ball)

Things are about to pick up rapidly, PLease stay in touch and consider sending your love.

Current mood:  accomplished
Well folks, It's now a new year. Once that happens to be a big one for us, with lots of surprizes, lots of change, and lots of new things on the table.

Just wanted to give you guys an update on where we are at with the new
CD "Rapid Fire Music" which will be our first cd released in 2008.

We have spent alot of time tracking at The Recording Den, Nashville, TN.
and have been doing alot of work at home. So far in Nashville we have
tracked some guitars, bass, drums, and cello. Lawrence goes up with me
next weekend to complete his lead guitar. Austin is about finished recording
his sax here in Charlotte, along with Jenn on violin. And from there once vocals
are done, the project will be ready to go to the workshop and be mixed mastered
and printed.

Our next show will most likely be our CD release show.
Which will be soon looking at sometime in march. If something
comes up before than, we will certainly let you know.

AFTER THIS CD IS RELEASED AND THE RELEASE SHOW IS
PLAYED THERE WILL BE SOME MAJOR CHANGES. NONE
OF US HAVE CANCER OR ANYTHING, BUT THE CHANGE
IS GOING TO BE JUST AS TOP HEAVY.

Much love, and stay tuned.
you wont be dissapointed

So what now?
You probably wont see us on stage for the next few months.
we are going to Nashville to record with some very talented
engineers/producers.

We are recording a 5 song EP entitled Rapid Fire Music
Rapid fire music best describes what our sound is becoming.
This CD is an introduction to our new direction.
We are very excited about this album, and will be doing alot
of traveling, and hard work to make this happen.

When the CD is done?
We will book a series of CD release shows.
Spread out over a period of a few months (hopefully spring 08)

CD release shows will probably pop up in areas such as:

Charlotte, NC (of course)
Nashville, TN
Chapel Hill, NC
App. State University
Western Carolina University
Wilmington, NC
and Atlanta, GA

If you could support us in any of these areas please let us know.
If there are any other areas you would like us to try to make it to.
please let us know.

What about the DVD?
Our DVD will be released alongside the CD (or around the same time).
It will include:

Footage from Tremont 10/19, Tremont 8/7, and our last CD release
show at bogeys. It will aslo include some behind the scenes of us
recording Rapid Fire Music and some interviews, plus
a few surprises.

Once again, we cant thank you enough for your live and support.
Thanks for continuing to spread the good word.
Much love.

The boys and girls of,
MICKEY BISCUITTT

From Andrew:

Q:Why exactly did you get banned from Tremont?
A: They will not book us becuase of the past shows
we have played there. Not abiding by the rules....
having liquid on stage, offensive language, vandalism,
and the fans making a mess and drug use. There is
a chance that if we are invited to play they might
be ok with it. but we cant ourselves, book a show there.

Q:Dan, What kind of amp do you use?
A: A Fender Cyber Twin.

From Jake D.
Q: Which one of you whippersnapers went doo doo in my cocoa butter?
A: Dailey pissed in the lemonade, then stuck his dick in the cornbread batter and made a real corndog.

From Amanda R.
Q: Which one of you doodz will make babies with me?
A: Jake D will.

From Jon A.
Q: Do you feel that as one of the less mainstream bands out there that you have a creative advantage in the NC music scene, or do you find it hard to find new fans in with a standardized and label driven generalization that is modern music?
A: Well, thats a very fine question. Personally we havent found it hard to find new fans. We accually have advantage, since we do leave our genre open and new, for different kinds of people to explore our music. Our fan base seems to be spread over a wide veriety of different people. we call this unity.

From Kaitlyn

Q:so my sister and some of my friends are trying to make a band but wer not sure how to like we already have 2 songs made and my moms friends mom is trying to make us a record but its not working out that wellso do you have any advise4 us?

A:Well. were not the best advice givers. but this is what we did. first off a good recording is necessary. then making a website/myspace to get the word out. id take some photos of your band, and get ur self together a press kit, with contact info, photos, bio, your music, etc. and send it out to venues in ur area. all at the same time spreading the word about ur music to your friends and people online.

From T.J.

Q: Who is the prankster of the group?
A: I would say Austin. I think he gets the award for prankster of the group. Just the outrageous shit he pulls. He gets alot of respect for it. ha.
