Hey folks,

CD is "officially" released this Thursday. They're looking pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. Please do come out to (SCENE) Metrospace in East Lansing this Thursday and check out an awesome show with Breath Owl Breathe, J. Quentin, Michael Beauchamp, Brandon Foote, and myself!

For those of you who can't wait, Flat, Black, and Circular on Grand River in East Lansing has a few copies of the album that are up for sale! Go get them!

If you'd rather wait in anticipation, you can always pick a copy or five at a show, OR order them through the MySpace. I'm trying really hard to make it so that it's only $5 any where you go, including shipping if you order it from me.

That's all! Hope you're as excited as I am for this release.

Cheers!

NEWS: tracking for the ep has finished, and mixing has begun! The set date for the cd release show is April 16th!

This ep will absolutely blow you away, i mean, far far away. Outer space even. I'm totally confident, and I hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as I've enjoyed making it!

Quick update on the record!

It's going very very well. Jon and I have been working and reworking thoughts for the release in terms of scope and the physical release. There are still a few kinks to work out, but the songs that we have finished are sounding very awesome. This weekend, drum guru Jon Steinhoff of Empire! Empire! will be laying down some beats. All in all, the album will be up for sale in the next couple weeks!

Details on shows, tour, and cd release party to come!

Last week, I started tracking a new album (surprise!!) with my buddy Jon Rajewski at his very own LOVEHAUS Studio in East Lansing, MI. We're working on adding some finishing touches to the first new song, and we'll probably record four or five more by the end of it all.

There isn't really much else other than stay tuned for some updates. In the mean time check out Jon's band, The Poor Souls, for some sweet rock n' roll.

EDIT: Photos from LOVEHAUS are up! Check for updates!

So it's pretty late and instead of getting through school work, I'll blog on this here blog instead. This fall is looking like it may be a very busy season musically, personally, and academically. A couple key announcements though:

1) New demos are being recorded as we speak. Hopefully, this will all culminate in some sort of release. Nathan of Raise the Anchors (www.myspace.com/raisetheanchors) will obviously be involved in some capacity given that time and other obligations permit.

2) Also exciting is that this there's going to be a concerted effort on my part to try and get to playing shows in the East Lansing and hopefully elsewhere in Michigan. If you/your band/organization/etc. are/is putting together an event or a show which can some how involve me or my music, please get in touch with me.As usual, I'm always looking for more people to play music with, so if you/some one you know is interested, holla' at me.

thats all for now, be good.

Okay, so my half of the Ronny The Bear EP is up! Please download, share, leave comments, send pipe bombs, etc. I promise there will be an official download release with better quality mp3 for download sometime soon.

I hung out with photography/film guru Dee Derusha today and we took some neat photos and listened to a bunch of old stuff that I did, so I put one of them up. Check out "The Sound of Feet Running" if you're curious.

That is all.

Hey ya'll.

This is the first time I've ever blogged, so it must be important. Just to let ya'll know, there's gonna be a first real release of some tunes recorded with my buddy Nathan of Raise the Anchors. The album is going to be a studio quality record done in my apartment in Lansing with some shiny new mics. The current plan is a 6-8 song split featuring a couple new songs and re-recorded versions of older ones. Also...an exciting cover and another collaboration. Currently, you can find one of the tunes we worked on over the summer at the Tortoise Fodder MySpace entitled "The War Contiues...". Its hoppin'.

Of course, the split will be available for download online for everyone's enjoyment. More updates soon.

Cheers
