Hey everyone!

We've had some changes on tour dates for our west coast U.S. tour. Please check these FINAL dates and make sure you show up to represent.

We're already in rehearsals, doing various radio and press interviews, and stoked about coming your way and meeting you!

Meldrum drummer Gene Hoglan made the following statement:

“Hey everybody! We’re all super-excited to announce this upcoming MELDRUM tour! It’s gonna be a few selected West Coast dates, where we unveil the new line-up of rip-snortin’ bitches, and I’d love for everybody to come out and get your heads handed to ya! We’re gonna be focusing on the upcoming ‘Lifer’ material which is a big step forward for the band, and we can’t wait to pummel all of ya with some heavy. We’ll see you on the road, people!”
 
This tour will be the only dates Meldrum will appear in 2009:

September 3 – Starry Plough, Berkeley, CA

September 4 – TBA

September 5 – Lost on Main, Chico, CA

MELDRUM ANNOUNCE SEPTEMBER U.S. TOUR DATES


HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 29, 2009) – Today Dark Moon Entertainment and Meldrum announced west coast U.S tour dates in September, in which the band will allow fans to preview tracks from their new album, entitled LIFER;

Meldrum drummer Gene Hoglan made the following statement:

Meldrum completed writing and recording the bands’ album with drummer Gene Hoglan, along with the new lineup Michele Madden (vocals) and Laura Christine (bass) last November. The surviving band members plan to release album tracks during the tour in tribute to their fallen band-mate, Michelle Meldrum, who died from a cystic growth on her brain.

Band sponsors include KNAC Radio, havocTV, EMG Pickups, Coffin Case, Volcom, Hot Topic, Skateboard Marketing, and Blastwaves Merchandise.

Finally, our special commemorative Michelle Meldrum RIP tee shirts from Blastwaves are available on our websites!

These shirts were first featured at the benefit show at Whisky A Go Go on Tuesday May 26, 2009.

They are available in both Tees and Baby Tees for the dames, and feature a picture of Michelle Meldrum on the front (thank you for the awesome picture Robert John) and an iron cross design on the back that reads MELDRUM FOREVER, Hollywood CA May 26, 2009, RIP Michelle 1968-2008!

We only did a limited run specifically for the show, so once they're sold out, that's it.

It was exactly one year ago today that Michelle Meldrum died suddenly from a brain cyst, and the world felt her absence when she left us.

Meldrum has now joined the ranks of Motorhead, Dio, Heaven and Hell, Judas Priest, Opeth, Sepultura and The Donnas, setting up a merch deal through the notorious Blastwaves merchandising. 

The first wave of merch has been launched, with more to be rolled out after the benefit show at Whisky A Go Go this Tuesday May 26, including a special commemorative Michelle Meldrum RIP tee shirt.

Portion of proceeds go to Meldrum family Jake Norum fund, please consider it a donation to buy a shirt if you cannot attend the event. Orders start shipping as of May 26.
