So we have some great, great news. Yes, double great. Our song 'Magdeline' has been put into rotation at Winnipeg's No. 1 Hit Music Station Hot 103! This of course means a wider spectrum of new listeners who may not have heard us on Power 97 and Freq 107.

Currently, we are in low/local rotation which means you'll catch us Saturday mornings and maybe during the local features they have in the evening. WE NEED SOME REQUESTS is the motive behind this message.

So if you're a Hot 103 listener and love us enough to want to hear us early in the morning with Ace or through the day at work, please send a request for 'Magdeline'! This could really help us getting on to affiliate stations as well as other major stations across Canada. And the snowball keeps rolling from there...

Hello friends,

It has been a while and there's no time to waste so I'll just jump right into it.

We have a few really cool gigs coming up in the near future. First, we are supporting our friends Floor Thirteen alongside our Classmates Sons of York for the Floor Thirteen CD Release Party this Friday, June 13 at the Park Theater.

You can still grab a ticket or two from us for $10 (General Admission) or $15 which will get you in the show PLUS a copy of their new CD! I'd definitely go for the latter!

We're also playing in Minnedosa for the town's 125th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, July 12/2008 at 6:30 PM. Our new friends Open Highway will be opening that show for us.

For all our friends in Peguis, Manitoba, we are going to be taking part in the Treaty Time Celebrations on Thursday, July 17/2008. A New Honour will be playing at 7:00 PM during the annual celebration week.

We are proud to say that our CD is now available through almost every major online distributor. You can find 'The Untitled Truce' on iTunes, CDBaby. com, Napster, and our biggest distributor to date, Amazon. com! Also, you can still check out all the local Winnipeg CD stores like CD Plus, Into the Music, Music Trader and The Light Bookstore to get your hands on our music.

It's finally here friends! The long awaited, much anticipated release of our debut record 'The Untitled Truce'! After a year and a half in the studio, endless shows, thousands of new friends and a more than a handful of accomplishments under our belt, the debut record is going to be available March 14, 2008!

To celebrate the release of our cd we are having an all ages CD release party at the West End Cultural Centre Friday, March 14!

We're gonna have all new merch, play new songs and have the cd available for purchase! As an added bonus if you get a ticket to the show before March 13th with the special stamp on the back you will receive $5 off your cd purchase! Tickets are also available for $10 at the door but will not be subject to discount.

Just some quick news for you all. We got word that 'Artificial' has been named the 79th best song of 2007 by Power 97! It is truly an honour to have our song placed on such a prestigious list amongst alot of bands we admire!

Thanks to everyone who phoned in and emailed requesting our song all throughout the last half of 2007!

The album is right around the corner and we're looking to make 2008 the year of A New Honour!

Power 97 of 2007

Well hello there friends,

It has definitely been a while since we've spoken. There have been a few changes and things to work out with the album hence it being pushed back for a while. However, tomorrow, Dec 11, Freq 107 is releasing it's local heroes compilation album. For $11.07 you can pick up your own copy of Freq 107's Frequency Vol. 1 CD at CD Plus and help support the Winnipeg Humane Society and Children's Charity.

We have a brand new track on the cd that has just been added to our profile and heavy rotation on Freq 107. Thanks to all our friends at Freq and our fans for making it possible to be on the cd. 2008 is going to be the year of A New Honour with our record being released and some other very cool suprises. We're lining up a tour for May and hope to see you all this summer across Canada!

So please go out and get your copy of Frequency Vol. 1 and request A New Honour on Freq 107 today!

Hey Everyone!

A New Honour is back from TO and is proud to say that they took 2nd Place out of the 500+ bands that entered the Great Canadian Band Challenge!  We had a lot of fun, and met a lot of great people! 

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped get us this far, and claim 2nd place!  To all the friends and fans who have been there since the beginning, and to all the new ones we met while in the big city!  For all the votes, time, encouragement and support, we are truly greatful!
