"Radio Control hits the pavement already pedaling in advanced gear with the quick-moving “Riding Bikes.” The two-person tandem that is Radio Control simply throws everything at the wall, and surprisingly enough, most of it sticks. After a rallying call of guitar that makes it sound like Radio Control is shoutin' of out from the rooftops and is ready to go, the dual male-female vocals kick in a wobbly and semi-breathless performance, as if actually recorded while riding their bikes (or maybe one of those huge tandem-bikes) in the city of Boston, dodging delivery trucks, car doors and savage swallow-you-alive potholes. The scenery remains slightly familiar, as if the duo is choosing to ride (at high speeds, of course) around the same three blocks rather than exploring the entire geography of the place. At just under three minutes, this song is just short enough to make it work. The vocal performance leads the track through the madhouse of asphalt-borne obstacles while the 1-2 of a drum machine pushes the small spoked gears that drive the big spoked wheels of the song. The three-chord circle of the guitar continues throughout the song, but it is more of a set-dressing in light of the commanding presence of the vocals and the drumbeat. There is a slight mini-breakdown to the song, as if the bike riders are pausing to lean over and click the “Fill-In” button on the drum machine before blowing through the red light and into the wild paved yonder of our lovely infrastructure."

Mayor McGlynn
Mayor McGlynn met with me on a Tuesday morning
Told me about when you first became Medford's Mayor
He ain't against a real cool party that's a true fact
but high on tuft's hill he brought out the paddy, the paddy wagon and said...
Keep that shit in somerville! Keep that shit in somerville! Keep that shit in somerville! keep that shit in somerville! (x2)
I never thought that I could run for public office
Until I met the white haired King the King of Medford
he let us use the bandshell on on the mystic
Reach for the stars and McGlynn will be there to give you a leg up
(chorus)
and I love meeting with mayors and i love meeting with mcglynn
well let me tell you a story about a mayor the mayor of medford his name is mcglynn, mcglynn etc.!
(chorus)

(chorus)
Pretty, Pretty Kitty
Pretty pretty kitty pretty pretty kitty pretty pretty kitty but not that much! ..
I went to see my baby he lives in the city he has a pretty kitty a pretty pretty kitty
i said to my baby i don't like your kitty even though he's friendly your very friendly kitty
I thought I loved my baby my very pretty baby but then i met his kitty his very pretty kitty
and he said baby baby baby maybe maybe maybe maybe we can work it out oh i'll kick the kitty out
meoooooow meow meow meow etc.
(chorus)
It's not a long story in fact it's kinda boring but this pretty pretty kitty well his litter was annoying!
and he said baby baby baby maybe maybe maybe we can work it out oh i'll kick the kitty out
But the moral of the story this tragic kitty story is that i was allergic and my baby wasn't sorry!
Then I left my baby he lives in the city because a pretty kitty is a very shitty kitty
meoooowww etc.
(chorus)

Radio Control:
We are, we are radio controlled radio controlled oh oh ooo oh oh...
at the age of six we put the wires in her veins didn't know if later on she'd go insane insane.
at the age of seven we admit we questioned our choice to see her struggle adjusting wasn't so nice so nice.
but at the age of eight on a routine maintenance drill we knew we'd done her right straight a's and not on any pills no pills.
We are, we are radio controlled radio controlled oh oh ooo oh oh...
at the age of twelve she worked in her daddies shop though we knew she wouldnt't like that having to talk having to talk
at the age of sixteen we readied her for the prom didn't know she'd have to hide her antennas that long that long
at the age of 18 we knew she had to go to school a perfect student hated weed, and alcohol...
We are, we are radio controlled radio controlled oh oh ooo oh oh...
at the age of forty we knew we had gone to far but once you sink the hooks in you feel the fear at every hour
at the age of fifty her wires showed a little rust her brain responded the same and it was lost to a virus
now we're on our death beds and we hear the clarion call wonder who'll take care of her when her back's up against the wall.
so heed a lesson if you care about your little youth let them fly free or they'll be radio controlled.
We are, we are radio controlled radio controlled oh oh ooo oh oh...
oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh aw oh oh
we are we are radio control radio control radio control...
