Place an order with Double Crown including at least $20 worth of Double Crown or Continental goods and get 2 free stickers (our new Surfites logo sticker and a fab Madeira logo sticker). You can order non-Double Crown stuff too, but to get the stickers you have to have at least $20 worth of Double Crown 7"s, CD's, DVD's or Continental magazines (issues 10 - 15 are available). The Toga Kings, were named "Louie Of The Week" this week by The Louie Report (the official Louie Louie website), for our version of "Louie Louie" recorded at our September 2006 reunion show. Here's what they had to say:

"Last week, I announced a new feature called the "LOUIE of the Week" award. We had the Cafe Blues Band, a fun band from Russia, take the first honors for what should be a regular feature. This week, we'll acknowledge the Toga Kings, a fun band from Bellingham, Washington.

You can hear their version of LOUIE LOUIE by visiting their MySpace page. Even though their official webpage is on the Double Crown Records page, even though there's no plans for any actual recordings. Your best bet is find out where they're playing, and experience them live!"

Seasonal Favorites, Volume One - which has been sold out for nearly 6 years, is finally being reissued with 3 bonus tracks! It is at the manufacturer now and will be available for purchase in mid-November. The three bonus tracks are all instros, and come from The Bitch Boys, Urban Surf Kings and The Surfites (all bands outside the US). It will feature the original PG-13 cover art from Johnny Bartlett (Hillsdale Records / Barbary Coasters). It will be followed by Volume Two, which will be out Fall 2007. The Kilaueas arrived in the US yesterday and are enjoying themselves in San Diego with some good 'ole BBQ and some time on the beach. The tour officially starts this Thursday with an appearance on Clint Beachwood's radio show in the afternoon and a show at The Tiki that night. I will try to post daily reports about their tour, show reviews, setlists, etc. here and on the Double Crown blog page at http://doublecrown.blogspot.com
