As quite a few of you have said, the recordings on the page are way out of date.  Sorry, we're getting round to re-recording them and some other new sets, should be done around October time.

In the meanwhile, if you want to see us play, you can click on view our videos underneath our profile picture and watch us play at the BAA club from June.  There's also a video of us playing at Rothbury Folk Festival on the Northumberland Gazette website (google it), click on Rothbury 2009 video once you get there, it'll be in video/audio section.

So there you go.

Aren't you lucky..

We're currently having a little break playing gigs til September time, we'll also start booking more gigs then, we're all pretty tired at the moment, but feel free to offer us anything and we'll always consider it.

So see you all around.

Clockwork.

You'll be glad to know our demo of Horizonto, The Barrowburn, Trestle Bridge and Bonny at Morn is finally recorded!  While it was very quickly done and with a slight lack of time to arrange it the way we wanted, we hope it will show off our sound.  Big thanks to Mike Coleman for allowing us to use the studio in Core Music for a grand total of £0 and Dave Ainsley (Helen's dad) for his patience with recording and mixing our music.  Recordings will be posted on myspace on the 21st April, if things go as planned.

Here's how it went though:
We arrived at the studio right on time which was amazing with us lot and being very "organised".  Of course, I was straight in to look at the guitars which I was told I wasn't allowed to do because we were there to record.  Stu had his new keyboard there, which will be appearing at our gigs in the future - lucky him, eh?  Once we had set up the mikes and all the rest of the stuff, Mike (not an intended pun) pointed out that tapping our feet might come out in the recording and since we're such groovy people we ended up with huge cushions and duvets under our feet.  Things got stressful fast but we got through each recording in a few takes and without screaming at each other.  The recordings themselves were good but if we'd had more time in the studio we would have probably chosen to have another take, or maybe we're just being too self-critical.  We'll find out when Dave's finished mixing!  Overall, it was great to be in the studio doing all of this and even though it was stressful we had a good laugh while doing it.

Current mood:  hopeful
So, we had a practise at Helens house today. We had set aside 3 hours-1 for photo taking and two for practising. We got off to a great start, Dane got lost and drove straight past helen's house and then parents stayed for coffee so that took half an hour off the time. Then we set off to take some pics, treked through forests and mud (we went down to the river) me and Dane both nearly fell, oh and we had our instruments with us (without cases!  ) luckily they didnt fall into the river! anyway, the photo shoot went well, i think , i haven't seen the finished results yet. so after we had exhausted all our energies posing in the cold and met various people who thought we were mad, we treked back home again...and sat down with cups of coffee and home made cake! so all in all we got a grand total of 40 mins practise where we discovered that the song was in the wrong key! great. But apart from that. A good days work i think!

Hey, there's a few people out there who we'd like to thank for helping us to take our first steps as a band together.  People that have helped us on our way, in however big or small a way.  Sorry if I haven't got anyone, can't remember all!

Chip Chamberlain - For coming up with the idea in the first place.

Seth Tinsley -  For his support and his tuition for Dane that I Stu finally admitted he couldn't do!

Ollie King - Telling us how to get our myspace page out there and how to boost those page views.  Working so far Ollie!

Shelley - Bailey Sisters - One of our first comment people on our page and also a great source of advice!

John Lampitt - Adey - For coming on Tuesday to take the photos, and hanging around for 2 hours to wait for a certain someone! And for working round our schedule for future times!

Mike Coleman - For taking time out his busy schedule to give us advice on getting some gigs!

John Spiers - Another one with great advice and patience!

Sarah (Ladydetemps) - For her kind offer to sort us out some promotional stuff thanks to her job as a graphic designer!

Our parents - For lifts and putting up with us practising for hours in the houses, often with short notice!

There's more, I know, but these are the main people so far!
