....we just spent a great weekend at the Dundee Blues Bonanza...The BIGGEST free Blues event in Europe..!!

...an afternoon show on the saturday at Ogston's Bar was followed by an acoustic jam...

..sunday started with the Kid's workshop for Kids...(Fish Feathers nipped off to catch Lee Bates and Billy Newton)..followed by our show at the Bush...

..a great weekend and a warm welcome to all our new friends for the Bonanza...welcome aboard the HSP machine..!!

...a couple of upcoming shows have been cancelled...

..our 3rd July show at Aikman's in St Andrews has not survived the closing of that wonderful wee venue...all best wishes go to Barbara Ritchie..a great frined to music and musicians..!!

..our 19th June show in Aberdeen's Noose and Monkey has also been cancelled but will be replaced by some shows downstairs in Cellar 35...

Well, well,well...

..yep, another couple of tracks ...Myspace apparently allows us ten tracks now but we can still only see six...:-)

..for the techie-heads out there these recordings were mostly done in the Kid's kitchen...on a Zoom PS04 digital 4 track...

..additional Harp and percussion parts were added in FF MacTeeth's living room...

..chopped and mastered in Sound Forge...and Bob's your Uncle...

..these are "unpasteurised" recordings..you can still hear the odd slide rattle and stuff...but hey, life is full of imperfections...

..when he was a Producer with Chess Records, Willie Dixon never let a "perfect" recording out the studio door...perfection was strictly for God..

..take care out there...and enjoy life..it's too damn short to do anything else...!!
