O.K, It's October.
Where the hell is the FEST?
That's right.  I want an OctoberFEST.  A huge beer-fueled party with lots of pretzels and sauerkraut and bratwurst and hot Teutonic babes wearing Dirndls.  I want a a real oom-pah band playing the polka and guys with little Hitler moustaches dancing the goosestep.  I want pale, pink, blonde people making superior cars that cost more than my last apartment.  Efficiency damn it.
I guess I'll have to settle for the usual Japanese/American celebration of Autumn.  This usually invovles a pie of some kind, so it's all good.

Finally.  I was able to post my video!

But I had to post on YouTube to do it.  myspace can be seriously geeky and I find myself spending time tweaking my profile instead of more productive pursuits.  

Self promotion is addictive and I like finding new methods and content.  Keep watching this space as I pimp out my page.

I just got a letter
from my attorney re/ my support battles with my ex-wife.
It's a good thing I'm into comedy and not guns.
I got angry, but I feel a lot better now 
Instead of bullets this old gray cat has humor and a circle of friends and family
I'm a firm believer in Karma and doing the right thing
even, when others choose the dark side.
I'm still basking
in the glow from the Stand Up Academy grad show
And I'm enjoying my new job.so life really is pretty good just now.
Hm..  Maybe I'll reopen the joke file on my ex.

Welcome to my new comedy page and my first blog post. 

It's Monday evening and a nice if chilly night..
I'll start things off with a gripe.  I tried for a long time yesterday to upload a video, but the darn loader wouldn't even let me browse the files on my PC.  The forums were no help and trying to email Tom for help was an excercise in futility.  If ANYONE has a clue about how to resovle problems I'd be eternally (or at least temporarily) grateful.
The other thing I'll mention is I got my first, non-default, friend today.  While the idea of befriending a 22yr old model appeals to me, it would probably mean more if I knew who the hell she is.  Still I was enchanted (and by that I mean totally aroused) by her picture.  If it's a spam or someone going for a record number of friends I'll take it.  I figure a bit a cheesecake on my page can't hurt.
