The OXEGEN Picture bonanza begins here..Watch this space.Heres a quick one of headliners Kings of Leon last night

I heart The Charlatans forever. Definitely my highlight of Oxegen so far. Unfortunately, I forgot my card reader in Una's labtop so I can't upload any of the photees from today unto my computer- which is extremely, NOT GOOD. Crysies tmrw as I won't have enough space on my cards :-(

Sugababes

Fionn eating Hanuta and Uners eating Knoppers. yumsers.

Miss Lili and Miss Mullally

why.am.i.not.in.bed?just about to leave again for OxegenReally tired this morning as I didn't get much sleep last night due to crazy drunken neighbours messing with their apartment fire alarm and breaking all the little glass things on each floor to set off the alarms. twats. The fire brigade was there when I got home which kinda scared me a little bit (incase my labtop was in the fire and I lost all my pics of the Sugababes)Unfortunately I can't upload any pics of Amy Winehouse who actually made it to Oxegen this year. Her perforance was ok, she pulled it off but still, there was a weird vibe I thought. "Will Amy make it" was all was talked about in the press area all day and then we were made to take a bus to the stage to see her (just incase we spot her on the way?!) and were NOT alloud to point our cameras towards the stage until she was actually on it. Then, we were MADE to take a bus back to press room, even though we wanted to go back into the crowd. And even though the bus was full. Luckily me and Fionn  escaped and managed to catch a few more songs! Ok byesies!heres a weird one of White Denim from last night

xBoo Oxegen is finished :(Sunday at Oxegen was definitely the most funsies!  (The Charlatans was still my highlight but I don't think anyone really understands it except maybe my bestest school buddy Susan.. we used to obsess about Tim Burgess for hours)

Went  to see Delorentos first after snapping backstagy shots of MGMT (cutesies), The Kooks and Stereophonics.

It was so much fun and so amazing to see them have such a big crowd- these guys deserve to become BIG BIG BIG.

MGMT were on next in the Pet Sounds so shot them and stayed for their set which was CRAZY.

all these guys started climbing up on those pillars which hold the tent up, there were loads of guys on each pillar and then one crazy girl climbed all the way up and wouldnt come down for ages. They stopped the gig and the band went off stage for about 20 mins cutting their set short because of it. They managed to come back though and did their last three hit songs. It was mad though cuz this thing was going on for about 20 mins but there was no sign of security trying to get everyone down. That girl would have died if she slipped off it.

Then went and did a bit of work and then headed to Fight Like Apes. I got to shoot them from the stage which was brilliant but not as easy as it sounds. What an amazing gig and the tent was jammers. Hung out with the FLAPES backstage then doing some crazy shots

and then went to shoot Rage Against the Machine (omg I shot RATM)

I will put up more photees through out the day as I look through them properly.

AMYmore to come... but I love this one.

Fight Like Apesmore photees to be revealed in due time.

ProdigyThis was probably the hardest gig to shoot through out the weekend. They were running around like mentalists plus the strobe light didn't help. My focus was going back and forth it was just madness.

Charlatans

And got this earlier from the lovely Mr. Goulden - along with this comment:"from sunday night when you were jumping about like a 15 year old"

here are some ancient shots I took of Ham Sandwich last November in The Village during one of their all age shows. It was a Sunday afternoon and I remember I wasn't feeling the best (late night the night before) I had to do some backstage shots and people were drinking and smoking and I just felt so .. eugh.....  Corina then bought me a yumsie peppermint tea in Insomnia to make me feel better and then all was good :)

I know its coming very very late but I have been up to my eyes with work work work and seriously a day should  have more than 24hrs. Then I'd have time to finish everything I have to do. So as it stands, I have so much stuff to do and I just don't have time.  An example is print up my hard working class heroes pics for the exhibition and mount them. How the f*** am I supposed to find time to do that? who knows.Anyway, back to the picnic... I had so.much.fun. Even though I had to camp which was my biggest fear. Left Dublin at around 7 pm (thanks Neilsies for driving) so me and Una and Corina and Neil and Julie were finally on our way. we arrived to the picnic 5 and half hours later and spent the next two hours trying to find where to camp. We were meant to stay in VIP camping which was full so after a bit of drama we were sent to a little area in the Boutique camping which was quite cool. Finally pitched our tent by 2.30 and headed exploring the boutique area. The BT2 lounge was amazing with amazing tunes, tvs, laptops and comfy couches and beanbags. We got 2 bottles of wine from the wine stand outside which was just closing and chilled in the the lounge until the very early hours of the morning.. after polishing a bottle of vodka between us, it was time for sleeps. Next morning was kind of insane trying to file the story on time and getting the right pics over to the photoeditor.. So we were running around like mentalists for most of the morning missing Delorentos which I really wanted to catch. Ah well, will catch them next week. I think the first act we watched on Saturday was M.I.A. which was amazing. so much energy on stage. Lighting was so crap so pics are kinda shite.  Actually I must say that the lighting were real dodgy in all stages, which was kinda annoying.Neil aka Santa gave us loads of goodies such as special wristbands for special areas so we ended up checking out the little secret vip garden in the back of the bacardi tent which was great. Had a free bbq there and ended up hanging out with these London DJs (DJ Sauce and Men in Masks) who were playing at one of the small stages later on that night. It was such a laugh. We then made our way towards the Beastie Boys (via cocktails at Southern Comfort area)  We found out earlier that we could watch the bands from the side of the stage which was so amazing. What added to the amazingness was Jarvis Cocker standing next to me. omg. I heart Jarvis. We then headed to "The next stage" to check out our new DJ buddies who were fucking brilliant! Ended up dancing like spas for a few hours until it was time for sleeps. On Sunday I took it easy as had to work the next day. Watched Fight Like Apes in the morning but didn't take pics because I was too lazy to walk to the press room to pick up my pass before the gig. My highlights of Sunday were definitely IGGY Pop and Primal Scream. so much fun. Iggy Pop is the king.

And now to the photees
